I wanted to make a post on this.
Not able to conceive is a major problem these days .
Being a gynecologist, I know this.
More & more couple are meeting me with this problem.
I wouldn't say that is an abnormal track.
Coming to the show, Sona's problem seems to be really premature.
People will start thinking about infertility 1 year after marriage- that I am talking about minimum period.
Though I come across very young couple married for 3 months- also have come to me under family pressure.
That is the problem in India.
The day they get married, expectations start the next month itself.
Starting from MIL to non specific relatives on boy's side to parents of the girl.
Seriously, I have seen many couple unable to perform because of this pressure.
Planning a family, when, how many children- is not in their hands only.
Everybody has a say in this.
Especially, when the girl is working.-
Work pressure already there.
Difference in timing of work schedule, shifts- will make it impossible for being together.
As the age of marriage gone up, overweight issues- infertility is increasing.
In our show- if they are addressing this problem- thoda hatke- should show how a husband, family can support a girl in this situation.
Most of the time, the reason of not able to conceive is unexplained.
There, lot of positivity & emotional support will help.
If they show Dev & iswari seen supporting sona in this -
Then it will an eye opener to the society itself rather than the blame game.
