Jab dil ke faisale dimaage se hote hai, kya paate hai, kya khote hai...

How ironical is it that the very tag line of the serial has been reversed in the last 2-3 episodes and how has it wrecked with our own emotional hotspot. Yes, dimaag ke faisale dil se liye gaye hai! The sanity of the mind has been thrashed by the cravings of the heart. On one hand is Dev Dixit, the very name that had a weight of its own. He had earned that name for himself, fighting the world at every step for his family. But now all that we see is a man washed in shame and guilt. Every second of his existence is filled with an unbearable shame and guilt for his own self. How does one live when one' own body and soul have long lost the way to each other? He points out at the kind of face that he carries these days which makes people run away from him. What was it if it wan't his shame in his own eyes? Who was he talking about running away from if not himself? His words were dripping with such shame and guilt that they would probably never let him redeem himself in his own eyes. They shall surface in those moments when he would be all by himself and torment him mercilessly. He claims truthfully that he had no intention ruining Sonakshi' engagement. 'Mai toh waha tumhe aakhri baar dekhne aya tha. Uske baad tum free thi'. And then he instantly gets back to pleading her against all the circumstances and people who have put them in such a situation. 'Please mujhe chodke mat jao Sonakshi. Tum door jati ho toh aise lagta hai ki mai marr jaunga'. He speaks of the searing pain in his heart at the sight of Ritvik pushing the finger in Sonakshi' finger. What was that moment if it wasn't sheer vulnerability that only love can bring with it. It's the greatest gift of love! A moment so pure in itself where the line between the self and the other blurs totally. He helplessly questions her about his responsibilities forcing him to live against his wishes. 'Kya karu mai? Batao tum Sonakshi' . Before whom did he bare his heart out? The one person in his life who had taught him in the truest sense of the word the meaning of 'oneness in love'. 'Pehli baar aise lag rha hai ki koi mera apna hai, jisse mai kabhi bhi maang sakta hu, haq se' . 'Mujhe nahi lagta hai ki ab aapke problems mere problems se alag hai Dev'. For the two, their love was a celebration of their oneness! Sonakshi- Here is a lady who has been subjected to sheer apathy and cruelty in the hands of her own love, yet she has that immense depth of character to rise above her own sufferings and understand the origins of every action of Dev. And what has Sonakshi ended up with? Sheer numbing pain, just doubled up, nothing else. The most difficult part about being strong is that no one asks you "How are you?". Sonakshi, for me, is a character that celebrates the strength of a woman with such an underrated simplicity and relatability. She is a woman with her own set of flaws, but what amazes me is the way she draws her strength to face the world whilst silently battling the numbing pain within her. Where does she draw this strength from? Probably it comes from a place within her, the origin of it unknown to herself as well. A lot of question have been raised on her action of leaving behind her engagement and embarrassing her whole family, There are those moments in our lives when the cravings of the heart surge past the calculations of the mind. Those defining moments where no amount of logical processing beforehand can silence the instincts of the heart . Probably my saying this may not make much of a difference. Just like everything else, this too is an experience that needs to be gone through to empathise and understand.

Amazingly put... 👏 👏

The last line has the answer to all the questions ...

As for the tag line..
Till now the decisions have been taken from brain only
The reactions that have happened are from heart

So I think they are very much sticking to the tag line..

And probably thats what they want to show..

For me it all makes sense...I find it real, I can relate to it.
