Someone once said that death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.

That's the thought that hit me when I saw Dev today.😭
The body is there, but something has died inside, as rightly said by his mama too. πŸ‘

The pressure he has put on himself to fulfil his families expectations is sooo high that even under so much influence of alcohol, he has that in his mind.

But for once, I am happy of the fact that Liquor is not banned in Delhi πŸ˜‰...and that Dev got drunk. So to Elena dear, beta payal nahi, botal dil ke raaz kholti hai πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Dev had a lot inside him which he needed to vent out. And I am glad it will continue for tomorrow as well.πŸ‘πŸ‘

Coz men are too weak to express and almost have a guard on and that's where scotch worked for Dev too.πŸ˜‰

Today's episode when Dev cried his heart out to Sonakshi had my tears rolling down. I could feel the pain he was going through. Fir kisi cheez ka hisab nahi rehta jab mohabbat behisaab ho jaye.

He had no control over himself, over anything. The only thing he knew was he wants Sonakshi happy. And so as he told her, he went there with good intentions, just to see her for that one last time, to wish her one last time. He tried to tell her that when he's making her suffer, deep within he himself is suffering and his suffering was spilling over.

My favourite from that conversation was when he couldn't even speak or should I say he hated even speaking about Ritwick putting that ring into Sonakshi's fingers, let alone the fact that he had to witness the situation. It clearly showed how much he even hated the thought of it.

But after all this, the point is, as much as that alcohol helped him in coming out with his pent up emotions, I am afraid, next morning when he gets up, he'll again be Dev Dixit, the man who is guilty of not being worthy of Sonakshi and this time may find himself guilty of blaming his god for his debacle.

And so while I leave, this one is to praise the hero today: That bottle of scotch πŸ˜†
Sharaab se kuchh to seekh le ae ishq, Botal pe kam se kam ye to likha hai ke main jaan lewa hu.

Beautiful post. πŸ‘

That was such a beautiful scene. Didn't feel like Sharica were acting. That was a Dev devoid of all frills and fancies of Dev Dixit. A man whom Sona have seen and have understood but was an unknown entity for Ishwari who had never seen this vulnerable side of him.

Thank you πŸ˜ƒ

Seriously...That scene I am sure must have put many into tears..It did to me..
And thats why I wanted to make a lil light post and not too heavy...Shaheer's acting in these scenes in last one week are kinda having a big impact on me and leaving me into shivers..

It took me 2 days to come outta that Tuesday office Episode between Sona and Dev..
And Mahaepisode and yesterday's scene took that to a higher level...

He's leaving an impact on me and I feel like going into some kinda seclusion after watching these heart wrenching scenes...depressing to see Dev like that
