Actually I didn't get to see the whole episode due to Ganpati at home, but I did c first part and then i just saw the episode on mute mode. But what I judged was like this...

Dev is recovering..His calmness is returning.. his business like attitude is back though it will be for short while. Its calm before the highest storm passing through land. In this storm everyone will get shattered and thrown to lengths. Each and every one will suddenly get out of long sleep they have been and many will be displaced.

Lets wait and watch.

I get the feeling he has given up - just going with the flow. Guess he is tried of all that's happening around.

I think he has completely given up - on his love, his mom and his own life. It was evident today. He is a man completely squashed and all that remains to be sucked out his his blood! He does not expect any support from anyone! No matter what the spoilers show us, I am sure we are going to be be shown a tragedy with Dev... What, how, when is the question...

Storms are good in life... They shake out all the stuff that is flimsy, temporary, and things without root... What remains thereafter are the real stuff that matters!

Totally agree on this one . The way he stood in front of Mr. R it was evident that he is not going to say anything to anyone...just living because he has no other choice. He feels cheated/defeated by every one around him. Storm has already hit him hard. He is holding up...but its only a matter of time...he will collapse soon...probably during her engagement!!
