Good to know about your views, but... Yes there is always a but
From the very first promo of this show I was aware that the ML will do break up with the FL that too for his mom. So it was never a shocking thing for me - first break up of DevAkshi was destined to happen and even we all were very well aware in advance of the reason as well.
Now coming to Sonakshi forgiving Dev - I don't understand from where did you got the idea that she forgave Dev . She was just feeling nostalgic and there is nothing bad in that . Irrespective of whether our views matched on Dev or not but I liked the fact that the CVs showed, people do remember their good and beautiful moments. I have witnessed real people talking about their ex and sharing even some good stories related to the ex as well . If XYZ have divorced with PWY that doesn't mean they have not spent good time with each other ever . No one only remembers bad memories most of time people would like to remember good memories in life as well. Its only good memories that keeps us running in life . We can't lead life with hatred. If she would have forgiven him , both of them would not fight with each other and rather we would have get to witness some goodie- goodie scenes.
My best example is - Ranbir and Deepika , Ranveer and Anushka -
Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty had ugly break ups but today all of them have cordial relationships.
So I do believe we do forget and forgive .
Reality and close to reality are two different things . End of the day this is a serial and CVs need to show drama. On a lighter note - we are EK tortured viewers - we have watched worst ML - marrying three times or more whereas FL marry and sleeping with ex just to save a baby . A dead man miraculously shown alive, plastic surgeries , loss of memory and what not - compared to all nonsense we have watched till date I liked this drama reasonably good so I am liking it .
