TRust and respect are much more important than love in a marriage , I'm saying this from real life experiences . Real life is some thing else and here I thought makers said they wanna show reality ??
I've seen greatly in love lovers marrying and that love marriage crumbling down like a castle of cards within a few years ,once family conflict and day to day marital life started. Not one case, but several such cases.
Dev's love for Sona is so so weak, with him never doing any thing whatsoever to rectify his own mistakes and taking a stand for her , her feelings, her self-respect , her family.
He doesn't care even 1 % about Sona's family and how much he's harassing them by not letting Sona move on , I swear that engagement tamasha will be the last draw. Why'd Sonas' parent ever ever agree to giving their daughter's hand to this man , who can drop it at any point if his mother so much as gives a look at the pill bottle ?? Why'd any loving n caring parent in the world agree for such a match ??
Ohh wait , I forgot till now Dev has shown no effort or even desire to ask for Sonakshi's hand from her parents , so we needn't worry about it ! 😃 He just wants to keep his "Tu-mere-liye-sab-kuch-hai", "meri-ma-meri-zindegi-hai" worshipping club to continue with great gusto and wants Sona to rot her entire life loveless , rejected and desolate.
If they even get married by some wild twist at this point, I've no doubt Sona will be insulted and looked down upon n mistreated by the entire family, except Nikki n mamaji , and Dev won't do any thing for betterment of her situation because after all " Mein jo bhi karta hu apne family ke liye karta hu.. "
His family was , is n will remain his priority , n by family it's his mother , sibling , n relatives and Sona is not part of that. He never fought for Sona , now even he's rejecting vehemently even the idea of doing so when mamaji suggested it , like it's the most absurd disgusting n improper thing to do.
Their marriage will end up in a divorce within flat few years the away things are now.
