Hello guys!!!! I have been a silent reader here and now finally I have decided to write down a one shot on DevAkshi. I have been watching the show from its inception and it's really out of the box. So, without any further delay let me pen down the story I have for all the DevAkshians here.
" Pyaar ke kayi rang hai Miss.Bose. Kuch jo aap dekh sakte hai aur kuch jo aap chahke bhi nai dekh sakte. Love, this word didn't exist in my dictionary until I saw you that day," Dev closed his eyes and remembered that day when in front of his sisters he had closed his eyes and found her to be the girl as his fianc. He opened his eyes and found her standing in front, he smiled and as his eyes moved to see the person next to her,he felt rage.
" You came into my life and taught me to be a better person, to smile, to like different colors and today.".. He took a deep breath and sighed.
" I didn't love you Sonakshi, I didn't... " as he uttered those words he could see everyone eyeing him with confusion while she stood there, still trying to register everything that's happening.
Taking a step towards her he confessed, " Cause if it would have been just love,I think I wouldn't have been here. I would have been out there mourning over losing you and drinking. But, I am not going to do all of that, i am going to live and you..he said taking her hand in his,you are going to live with me. I know I broke all our ties and I know i am idiot but I am your idiot Sonakshi. Everytime I did a mistake or was confused, you were the one who made me see the right. You, Sonakshi are my first friend. And my last too. I didn't love you Sonakshi. I...looking straight in her eyes he said, I lived with you... You made me feel alive. And without you it's not going to be easy. I don't want you Miss.Bose. I need you Sonakshi. "
Her tears didn't stop and as his words struck her heart she fell in love all over again, with him. Love, she thought she knew everything about that feeling, she thought she knew it all but she was wrong.
Wiping her tears, he spoke the bitter truth," I know it's tough. Ma, she won't agree to our relationship. I know she won't and I know you are hurt."
She tried removing her hand from his hold but he held on to them forcefully.
" Pyaar aasan nai hai Sonakshi. Agar aasan hota toh tum apne saare romantic books padhkar roti nai. Pyaar mushkil hai...Lekin pyaar ke Bina jeene na mumkin. Jab mujhe tumse pyaar his tab maine pyaar ka pehla rang dekha, jaha zindagi bahut khoobsurat thi. Fir jaise tumhe jaana,tumhe pehchana, pyaar ka doosra rang, jaha mujhe khushi hai ki mujhe tumse pyaar hua and tumhe mujh se. Fir jab mujhe ye Pata chala ki Ma maan gayi hai, tab pyaar ka teesra rang, sab kuch hasil karne ka, and a small smile had appeared in his face which soon vanished as the next words left his mouth, pyaar ka chautha rang, jaha maine sab kuch kho dia. Ek pal main jab mujhe tumhare aur Ma ke beech kisi ek ko choose karna tha. In that very moment I died a hundred times. Tumse door rehna aasan nai tha par meri Ma ko tab meri sab se jyada jaroorat thi aur tab maine woh kia jo mujhe sahi laga."
Sonakshi heard his every word, each dripping with love and for a moment she was proud that this was the Man, she fell in love with.
" I am not gonna leave you Sonakshi. From Miss.Bose to Sonakshi, from Mr.Dixit to Dev, we have come a long way and i am not going back again and neither are you. It's our Love Story Sonakshi and every love story should have a happy ending. And this ending is not for us," he left her hand and looking in her eyes said what he had come here for," To hold hand and walk a mile is easy but to climb a hill is tough. And love isn't just walking a mile nor is it just climbing a hill, it's more than all of that. The journey is going to be full of tears and pain but if you hold my hand today, I promise never to leave you alone. Hold my hand now and it will never be just You and Me, it will be US. Will you? "
He held his hand out waiting for her answer but she was just too shaken to react.
He looked around and found everyone looking at them. Some eyes shooting anger while some shooting admiration on his words. One glance again at the woman he is in love with and then he turned to walk towards the exit.
Not before he had walked a few steps than he felt her hand on his wrist. Coming in front of him, she wiped her tears and with a brittle voice spoke," I want to go ahead. No, I need to go ahead, Dev. I can't... I just can't do this anymore. I thought, pyaar karna maine aapko sikhaya hai...Lekin aaj tumne mujhe pyaar ka ehsaas karaya hai. Pyaar ke rang... She smiled as she recalled his words and continued... Pyaar ke kuch rang jo tumne bataya hai..ek jo maine aaj dekha hai aur... Pyaar ke aur kayi rang jo Hume saath main mehsoos karne hai...,"she held his hand and passed on a smile.
And the two walked off, to complete their love story or may be just start it again. Knowing very well that they might never come across a full stop but they were happy with the ellipsis which would show them new colors of love.
