I know after yesterdays' episode, many people in the forum are bashing Dev, But i think he frustration, anger, insecurities, and pain is making him do all this, without thinking any right or wrong. From the start, Dev had been an impulsive character, as there was no one to guide him (he didn't share any of his problems to anyone), so when comes to family, especially his mother, he cant think anything beyond it. Then came Sona, and she became his guiding light, his stabilizer, someone to tell him that he is wrong, someone to put him into perspective, someone to make him understand, and we all saw an improved he Dev.

Now, Sona is no longer in his life, and his is in immense pain and no where to channel to, no one to talk to, no one to understand him, and all his pain, frustration, emptiness is piling up in his heart.

Then when he saw Rithwik, hell broke loose, he was not able to let her go. I know many has discuss that it was his call to break up with Sona, but it was not what he wanted. Eventhough they broke up, Dev was stalking her, just getting her glimpse made his day, just by seeing her, was enough, so now once she gets married, he will not be able to do that too, his last ray of light will be gone.

So again hell break loose, as he is scared he will loose Sona forever. When they broke up, he never thought about Sona moving on, or her marriage, at least not so fast. The wave came too fast, so thats why he is not able to handle it. He was not prepared.

Yesterday, Dev closed all doors for Rithwik, hoping that , due to this issues, Rithwik will break the alliance, and also because Dev thought Sona also do not want this alliance. Eventhough the wrong way, i think he was just sort of "helping" Sona to break the alliance.

We all know Dev, whatever damage he does, he compensates even more. So he wasnt trying to destroy Rithwik's career, it was just a little drawback, so when the alliance break, he would have given the loan and the plot to Rithwik and cheaper price, who knows.

I'm not trying to justify Dev, but i think, he is just in tremendous pain. And sometimes, pain also caused a person to do wrong things. But that doesnt make them bad or evil, its just the time and phase are not right.

Many had posted then Ishwari's behaviour is also justified, if Dev is doing all this is pain, then why not Ishwari. But, in my defense, all i would say is Ishwari is selfish, Dev is not. Ishwari manipulated the situations, and now seems to be very proud of it till she cant see her son's pain. If Sona wasnt right for her son, then who is? Her behaviour shows selfishness, she was competing to get Dev, and here Dev is not competing with Rithwik, as he knows Sona doesnt love him, but he is not able to let go of Sona, as he immensely love her and she too loves him.

Totally agree with you dear... Sona was the only guiding light in Dev's life. With her not being there with him, he has lost his mind and is doing whatever he feel like in impulse. But that doesn't make him a bad man.

We all know Dev will never try to destroy Ritvik's career. But at present, he's not at all in his senses. And we all agree what he did is wrong and cannot be justified. But we need to give some time to the character instead of jumping into conclusion in a week itself.

Dev is always like this.he will rectify his mistakes once he realise but some mistakes can't be rectified.but as of now he is completely out of his sane thinking.he just want to stop the marriage but actually he has no right to do it .sona is right here.
