Sona would be miserable for all her life WITHOUT Dev !

He wants Sona to be happy but at the same time doesn't want his mother to be upset !

I don't know about you others, but I would never like to be with a man who can compromise on his mother's happiness !!

Had it been a case of a normal mother, Dev would have convinced her long ago & actually she would have understood by herself

But Ish is way too complicated.. So Dev has to be cautious.. And give her time .. He can not take any risk with her

But that doesn't mean he would let Sona marry someone else .. So, right now the most important thing is to stop her cz he knows his mother won't be convinced easily & moreover he doesn't know how to do that !

That's all !

P.s - The show is all about Dev Sona & Ish .. I'm afraid your wish of Sona-Rtivik marriage won't be fulfilled here !

I find contradictions in Dev so I don't sympathise. He agreed for marriage earlier and just broke the relationship on the engagement day. Where was the respect for his mother???

DEv is just another selfish son who has been thrust upon a great son title by his mother and others. He is still a 10-12 yr old boy who can't think straight and take social decisions. He thinks money power can be used for every happiness. Its not bashing but the real character of Dev. He's crying and stalking sona but is not telling his mom. He didn't hesitate when he broke the engagement earlier- why?????

I like your post but don't agree. Ishwary can never accept any girl in Dev life and no amount of argument can convince her. Its a deep routed "widow mother syndrome" which makes the mother totally insecure.

Such mothers like daugher in laws who are just bahus and not wives to serve family and take care of house.

in the stubborn case of "widow syndrome" (my patent) mil never allows the son dil to even sleep in the same room.

He's not a stalker .. He needs no psychological treatment .. He is clueless about what to do .. How to stop her ..
At this particular time, he can not make Sona a part of his life, due to his mom ofcourse, but at the time same, he can not let Sona be with someone else !
Trust me .. It does happen in life .. And we can not forget that he is all alone.. There is nobody to pacify him .. Lead him to the right way .. Or help him with this Ish thing !
Instead of bashing him .. We should try to understand the situation and his character !

Yes. I agree.He is composing himself and trying to fix the damage he had done to himself,sona and their relationship without any support.He will be success in this attempt or not does not matter.Atleast he is reacting on his mistake.I did not expect that sona will become this much desparate to marry another guy without giving herself sometime.Even with the great love and support of her family sona took the wrong decision of marrying Ritwick without knowing anything about him.I feel compared to Sona,Dev is always more active(positive/negative) and reactive in their relationship.I love him for the way he is and i does not have any complaints about his behavior but little disappointed with him at the time of breakup.He should have been composed even that time also and would have been given sometime to himself and their relationship.I think this breakup might have been made him strong and now he will try to fix the problems on his own without sona support

If this behaviour of Dev is a colour of love then it is something no woman deserves.

Such type of so called intense love only looks good on screen. In real life it would be enough to drive the object of such affection to suicide. This is not a colour of love , this is the colour of selfishness and obsession.

OK just answer my question what does the intense emotional lover called Dev want?

He is not willing to marry the girl and he is not willing to let her go! So does he want to make her his mistress, keep or what?

You have no intention of being honorable yourself, you have no intention of letting anyone else do the honorable thing with her. 😲

Oh wait I forgot he needs time - for what?? Please answer for what does he need time when he has no earthly intention of trying to convince his godly mother! 😆

Oh sorry I again forgot, he is preventing Sona from committing a grave mistake by marrying someone when she is in love with him. Sho shweet. 😳

What should Sona do instead. Forget her dreams of marriage, family and children. Either become his mistress or become a nun or jogan. 😆

No one here hates Dev. At least I want Sona to be with Dev but a normal, honourable Dev not this selfish, psychotic character.

I can't believe you actually said all this.

First things first, please watch yesterday's episode, Sona clearly mentions that Dev's agent got Ritwik's loan cancelled.

Secondly, Dev is stalking Sona. If someone keeps tabs on you 24*7, follows you wherever you go, that too without your knowledge then it means that person is stalking you and it is not justified even if that stalker loves you and you love him back. God forbid if that happens with someone in real life, you should report it immediately. It is a crime.

Thirdly, he really needs a psychiatrist for his anger issues, anxiety issues and for his uncalled obsession with Sona's personal life.

Also, Sona should be the one deciding where her happiness lies, not her ex-boyfriend or some xyz person who doesn't even know her properly. She still loves Dev but that doesn't mean that she can't move on with Ritwik. She can, she should and she would because Ritwik can offer her things that Dev can't. Sometimes love is not enough.

Lastly, if he can't marry Sona because of his mother then what is he trying to do by following her everywhere and trying to shoo away prospective grooms? He wants her to be a part of his life but doesn't intend to marry her, is that what he wants? Why should Sona agree with that?

P.S.- I do think that Sona still needs time before settking with Ritwik and the challenge thing is a bad move.
