I hope dev doesn't become modern day devdas.devdas himself gave his lovers hand to another man because he could not take a stand against his parents inspire of the female lead asking to marry her .this story is old one but the girl had the guts to ask him in that age.we all know what happened to devdas and his parents realised there mistake but it was too late.
I hope this is not the case here and our eev grows a spine fast to take stand for sona.
