another awesome episode (29th aug)...i was actually clapping hard wen bijoy was saying those things like ur love for ur son is selfish, u hv snatched happiness from ur son's life, my daughter's love is like pure gold, u hv emotionally blackmailed dev, etc etc...there is noone in dixit family (with the exception of mamaji but even he censors his words wen speaking with ishwari) to show the mirror to ishwari...and today bijoy has done just that...
and ishwari is one pathological liar...how deftly she edited the scenario according to her own convenience...like she was telling mamaji how she tried so hard to accept sona...like she bought the bedsheets selected by sona but very conveniently forgot to mention that she threw away those bedsheets after returning home...like she taught sona to cook fav halwa of dev but very conveniently forgot to mention that she deliberately made dev eat the tasteless halwa to prove that sona is worthless...
and wat other steps ishwari took to accept sona...as far as i remember she was behaving very badly and talking very rudely with her since she came to know about devakshi...
and one thing ishwari repeatedly says that she has never asked dev to leave sona and this has been dev and son's own decision...ishwari very cleverly sidelines the fact that she has emotionally blackmailed dev as bijoy rightly said...yes she never told dev to leave sona...only thing she did is tell mamaji that she does not like sona and then gets herself admitted to hospital knowing very well that mamaji will definitely tell dev that she does not approve sona...very shrewd, manipulative and hypocrite lady...i despise this character...

ok now coming to the final scene...i actually think this was the show stealer for me not only because it was dev's scene but because i cud see a new facet of sourav...sona must be proud to hv a bro like him...he knows how to gv back widout crossing his limit...wen dev made a simple request like let me leave u home he was like u hv left whom u had to leave...that was really bang on...
dev's lame apologies made no impact on sourav as he stressed on the fact that sona's family will always be with her and will help her to move on...only wen dev admitted that sona is lucky to hv a supportive family we cud see sourav melting a bit...i guess noone will disagree that dev has a dysfunctional family and therefore after breakup more than sona it is dev who is left with noone to share his feelings...
but the highlight of this entire scene was shaheer's performance...i wont even try to define it with set of adjectives since i hv no words...he was actually speaking thru his tears wen he was saying how he cud not keep his new promises because of the old ones that he once made (to his selfish mom...little did he know that like dronacharya asked the thumb of ekalavya ishwari will one day ask price for her parvarish in the form of his life)...and wen sourav said that sona is not engaged yet his smile just reached out to my heart...his eyes were filled with tears but he was happy that sona was not yet someone else's...
i know i shud be angry with dev for not wanting sona to move on but at that time i cud see a lost and defeated dev who wants to cling on to his last hope of survival...the final freezing frame of the scene was beautiful...dev was smiling with tears glistening in his eyes...and i loved that line that he will help her in her effort to not enter into relationship with ritwik...he conveniently missed the point that sona's effort is to enter into relationship with ritwik and not the opposite...it is so tough to accuse dev of anything wen he is already burning in hell...
