I think he should be a bad guy so that Ishwari's character falls in front of Dev. Imagine he is a good guy and Dev finds out Ishwari sent the alliance, Ishwari can get away with the fact that she did it out of good will. Ishwari would say Sona has done a lot to me and so, I want her to move on and hence, found the best match for her. However, if the guys is bad and Dev comes to know that Ishwari sent this rishta, then there is more room for Ishwari's character to fall in front of Dev. It might be the first step towards bringing Ishwari down from "GOD", which is very much needed if Dev and Sona are to unite. There could be a kathri thing, which may come later to bring down Ishwari's character down further. But, that's not about Sona-Dev. It may come and haunt her post their marriage? so that Sona would be his side helping him cope up with whatever that secret was.

Sona and Ishwari are the most imp people in Dev's life and I think he can't tolerate any bad happening to either of them. So, the love for Sona will make him start hating Ishwari if and only if Ritwik is bad character and the point being she brought the rishta will hold some value. Otherwise, Ishwari can still get away in Dev's eyes, is what I think.

I saw many people telling Ritwik should be good character and Dev should genuinely earn Sona. I agree with that and I think the jouno issue is certainly going to do more damage to their equation. So, even if Ritwik is bad and Dev tries to stop the marriage, he will still need to do whatever needed to earn Sona's broken heart. Ritwik being bad would only bring Dev out of Ishwari's clutches. I could be completely wrong on this, you never what CVs have in store for us.

Added point: I think Ritwik is probably involved in some corruption, which is why he is not getting job. Sona's dad is dead against corruption so that could lead to stopping of this marriage

Haha.. CVs completed stumped my view as expected.. 😆

ps: I am new to this forum. This is my first topic here. I just recently started watching this serial (in fact, after dev-sona breakup 😆)

Well I am partially inclined to this possibility and this might happen only because Dev needs to lower Ishwari from the pedestal on which she has been comfortably sitting for many years. Dev needs to know that it was his mother who had planned all this and she was instrumental in Ritwik meeting the Boses.

Secondly I have my own doubts on this Ritwik. Why does he want to marry Sonakshi who is getting into this relationship with so much of baggage ? Its been sometime since they have known each other and it is clear to Ritwik that Sonakshi has not gotten over Dev. She is still very much in love with him and feels bad that he did not think twice before breaking up. Its surely not love, then what is so compelling that Ritwik wants to get into a marriage in this hurry.

I agree. Even I don't understand this guy. May be, he never got any alliance in the past due to his something bad about him and he wants to stick with this alliance somehow 😆 That also is not very convincing.

That's right. They will also be angry if they get to know Ritwik is Ishwari's choice and would regret taking the decision.

Honestly I know its too much to ask in a show. But the Boses indeed hurried up this rishta business in my opinion. It would have sounded and looked logical had they gone through a list of proposals and accepted Ritwik. And secondly why did they so easily accept that matchmaker ? They did not even know him. He just came , saw , conquered types. Normally you would ask for references.

Come on if u admit that you had an affair in the past, husband will torture u with that information life long.
I would say 99.99% of men are like that.
Women also.
We tend to be possessive about your partner/ wife.
That is natural.
Rithvik knowingly agrees to this after he realizes sona has not gotten over Dev - is really fishy
That too a hurried marriage
What is sona trying to prove?
She can get hold of somebody to marry ?
I am totally not liking this.
Everybody supporting sona in this I can't digest.
I am not saying she should go back to Dev & plead .
Try to understand him.
Whatever love he has Learnt about love is from sona

Most people are not.. When you get into an arrange marriage the first step is honesty.. Most times you share your past you spare your partner details... you will not get into who and why of the relationship but you should share to avoid complications in the future.

My Experience people come clean. Its better as you can start the new relationship on friendship if not love.

I want this guy to be a creep..and Sona should feel disgusted everytime she thinks of the time she spent with Ritvick ...n regret for giving him Dev's position so easily n learn that rebound relationship is not the solution and realise what gem Dev was compared to this guy ...

...you see sadistic pleasure ..she has tortured the fans enough by painting the town red with her new bf ...

Absolutely. Sona should regret this. With what face she gets back to Dev if they are going to show intimacy between her & Rithvik?
I don't want patch up then if there is no value for love. Let Dev move on & get a good girl- now I feel so bad for him he left Natasha for sona !!!
