But its not about finding an ideal guy. Its about love. And Dev-Sona love each other way beyond all these things. Sona accepted Dev with all the complexities in him and around him. Today, though separated they only love each other. And when you love someone deeply you don't think of the pros and cons. Love doesn't happen thinking about how ideal the famil is or how ideal the boy will be. It just happens. Sona fell in love with Dev for his selfless qualities and after knowing eachother more with each passing day their love just increased with leaps and bounds.

She is angry with him at present and even he has not assured her anything pf them being together in future. This is the reason she want to move on as she thinks Dev don't even want to try for them. Once they sort out the issue things will be fine yet again. And this lovely couple so in love will be happier than ever.

And when you look at happy DevAkshi, you can never think of them with someone else. They are just made for eachother.

All said and done, Ritwik is a nice guy and his family too is really sweet. And welcome on board Jai Soni.😊

Let me ask you few questions :

1. Which couple did you love in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ? 😛

2. Which couple did you love in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein ?

3. Which couple did you love in Dhadkan ? 🤪

4. Which couple did you love in Woh Saat Din, Saagar, Deewana, Chandni, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ? 😳

I know it's damn confusing to answer all these.. Logically when a guy dumps/cheats on a girl or vice versa in such brutal way, we want the guy/girl to move on and never look back.. But that happens in a perfect world 😆 In reality, we give 10000 chances to the person we love, wait for 1 good thing to happen to erase 10000 issues, want our beloved to do 1 good thing just to overlook 10000 mistakes.. Yes, that happens.. I think this is the first show where I am still rooting for the male lead even after he dumped Sona so brutally, and the only reason has to be Ishwari..

I can totally understand someone's situation who has been brought up with a thought of just giving .. I can relate Dev's character to one of my close relatives, who thinks 100000 times before buying something expensive for himself whereas he is more than ready to give his family whatever they want even if twice costlier than that.. His hesitation and endless justification of doing something for himself just makes me sad and I do condemn him that he shouldn't think SO much before doing something from his own hard-earned money to make HIMSELF happy, no justification is required..

People like Dev has no one to make them think about themselves, and that is what makes me still root for Devakshi.. Like you, I'm also breaking my norm and supporting someone as weak and low-life character as Dev just because he is unbelievably unfortunate to have been blinded by such manipulative, cunning and suffocating mother.. Earlier I was fan of KZK and started as Anurag-Prerna fan, there the situation was quite similar, the guy dumps her for his mom after making her pregnant, and till date I loathe that character, but here it's quite quite different than that one.. Ishwari is the worst kind of mother one can have.. She puts all negative characters behind by sheer devilish ignorance, subtle manipulation and pretense, the ultimate weapon of human being..

And no, I dont think that makes me change my character or a traitor to my existing preferences/beliefs, I would still despise weak characters who dump girlfriends for mommies, but here, not yet .. 😉 For you, I believe it doesn't make you a traitor either.. It's just an ability to think beyond the people and consider/accept the situations which eventually make us more mature as viewers.. 😊
