It is actually not clichd as the normal reaction of most of the parents in this case would be damage control and hence groom finding. Also the thought that this would help their daughter forget the former boyfriend.

From sonas angle also it is normal as she is human and has a ego which has been trod upon by dev. She might say on face that she has dealt with it but on the inside she is super angry.

So she will be ruled by her bruised ego and anger to show Dev that she is not suffering without him and is happy

These are all gut reactions of normal people. My only complaint is why Jai Soni? Could they not get anyone better

Any one knows if this is a Cameo role like that of Natasha ?? I am curious because in none of the articles they mention it as a Cameo so If it isnt I feel Sonakshi - all the way will go with Bengali Babu.

I am happy she is moving on.

After what all dev did to her,she has no reason to wait for him or cey buckets for him.

She also has a family who is probably worried for her and if she meets a guy they have selected its not a crime.

Theres a vast diff between was dev did and what sonakshi is doing

He broke her heart while he was in a relationship only so his mom is happy.he broke all the promises he made

While she is meeting this guy only after dev dumped her,she is not the one breaking his heart here...if she does this for her parents then whats wrong in this?

I am really looking forward to this track

I feel like he's not fit for this role
Just my opinion
I think it needs to be someone who is tough and like equal to Dev
Even Neil would have been better

exactly, this has been a traumatic experience. no normal parent would think of doing such things. also we are living in the 21st century where age is no more a barrier for marriage.. I will be shocked if such scenes are depicted. for now, i will assume it is another fake article and move on.

It's her personal choice of she wants to meet a guy..I am sure her family won't force her..
And it might be clich but actually If they will go all realistic way ..it won't have anything to watch honestly...we should remember it's a fiction..they should just be close to reality and take realstic approach as much as possible..but whole realstic practical thing would be way too boring for a fiction and a daily soap..as real life love stories are not that adventure and romantic as they are shown in fiction..and that's the reason we watch these.
I would hope they execute this whole track well and keep it short

I doubt if this is a Cameo role for Jai. Unlike Natasha's track no where its mentioned. So I think this guy is going to stay in this serial ...till CVs want him.

I think we got to know it was cameo because of Roopal (hope I got the name right ) ..she kept saying that in almost every interview wheras here none of the actors have given their byte yet ...I don't mind this third angle ...let Sona be with her BengalI guy ..please don't return to Dev ...I wish they show a parallel track where Dev gets to know Ishwari's issue and he solves this problem on his own and becomes emotional strong person and learns to balance ...parallely Sona and her Baba can be with this perfect BengalI guy and can satisfy their ego. ...
