Shaheer, wish I could send you a personal email. Man, Your expressions !!!, I have no words to describe. A big hug to you for your amazing performance🤗.

Dev was experiencing a volcano of emotions erupting inside him. He is receiving the worst shocks of his life within a few minutes.He gets to know on the face for the first time that his mom does not approve of his relationship with sonakshi, the doctor saying that his mom took overdose of sleeping pills and it could have been a cardiac arrest... GOD... he could have lost his MOM!!!! Then hearing his mum "SPELL" out her turmoil calling herself a "BAD MOTHER", whooo...he just realises he has been blind and has "HURT HIS GOD" . The last straw in the hat- Sonakshi- the love of his life coming face to face with him while he is trying to digest the facts. How much can he take!!!! Sonakshi's outburst at him is fully justifed, but the fact that "DEV IS SHATTERED" has been ignored by many of us.

More than the characters, I am looking at the actors - Shaheer you are amazing, you emote the Raw pain with ease. Your eyes, your body language, your expression of Shock when sona is blasting you with questions, your breakdown after she leaves... I have no words to describe . You have grown exponentially as a actor from your navya days.

Probably this is how every matured "MAN" would look like when faced with Adversity - "Trying to maintain a brave face while you are shattering inside" - this look is the most difficult and i can sense that you were living the character of Dev and not "acting" seeing your performance.

Take a bow 👏👏

Agree he was superb specially his expression when he can't believe his mother don't like sona. The shock and unbelievable in his face 👏

Omg thank u for the post..yes we r talking and talking about characters somewhere forgot to appreciate the talents of our actors.

I don't know what to say..he is fantabulous in emoting very minute nuances. ..on Tuesday when his mother lied abt her approval of sona-the happiness on his face , the joy he felt -how like a kid he was jumping and running to sona...

And the very same night he had to face the harsh reality..
In hospital ...the voice modulation (when he said I couldn't understand what these nurses &doctors r saying with a shivering voice)..the body language mannn u nailed it...

When he got the shock of his life through mamaji ...how he tried to comprehend the happenings. .the guilt ridden face will haunt me for many days I swear. .

And the bestest part is he has to face Sona too that same night itself (game of destiny)how he avoided facing her..every muscle of shaheer's face is acting. .the hesitation to see sona in her eyes. .the restlessness. ..the unbearable pain on seeing her tears. .but( as u said )wanted to show he was rude..unaffected. .everything he showcased there effortlessly. .he is a born actor yaar..
you Deserve a Standing Ovation superman!!!

Shaheer is super talented. the way he delivers his emotions through his eyes and body language is just par excellence.

I had mentioned this in my post too. In the SBS segment when sona comes in his office and blasts at him, at that time the expressions on dev's face are enough to melt you down. Even though we get angry on the character but could still feel his pain and that is the pure magic of shaheer.

In a romantic scene the way he delivers his dialogues every girl imagines herself in sona's place. as if he is confessing his love and making those promises to us. In an emotional scene his acting just touches your heart and we cry with him.

Every one can act but there are few actors whose acting really touch you deeply. Proud of you Superman!!🤗 🤗

Although most of us have opinions on everything (😆), on an emotional level there is really no right way or wrong way to react when you are under extreme stress and shock.

It is true that there is a saying "Words once spoken cannot be unspoken". You should always be careful what you say, and particularly control yourself when angry and disturbed. But it is also said that you shouldn't judge a person when he/she is grieved, because in that situation, you don't have any control over yourself.

Hands down, Sonakshi is the stronger one of the two. As much as we have analyzed about Ishwari's insecurity, is Dev not insecure? He was also a small boy when he lost if father. Since then, he has done everything possible to make sure he does not lose anyone else and that he can keep everyone happy. His biggest insecurity is that his family may become unhappy again. And knowing that his mom was unhappy, and because of him would have been earth shattering for him. And he has never been known to have any control over his emotions.

Yes, beautiful performance. It wasn't acting at all.

It is such a pleasure to see that there are so many simply amazing actors and actresses these days. Such talented people.

There is no word to describe him but PERFECTION!!!! 👏
Whatever he does, whether it is an emotional scene or a romantic one.. Or the one with his siblings... U can feel ur presence in the scenario all thanks to the effortless n flawless acting by Shaheer!!! He is truly a maestro in his art!!! And last night, he just crossed all the limits of perfection!! Thousands n thousands of emotions we could see in his eyes and his body language!!! So brilliantly he transferred all the pain n confusion of dev in the audience!!! Kudos to u man!!! Hats off!!
