Nice post Mayu and glad to see your post after a long time ...agree with you on few points but I have a different view on the whole issue especially concerning Dev...my post may sound like I am defending Dev's every action but thats not the case .I want to highlight few things which is being missed as some are still in the shock after breakup scenes .

Regarding job , its true Dev controlled her life by forcing her to work for him but the second time when she joined back it was Sona's decision to continue working for Dev and he did not force her.Somewhere he realised his mistake of snatching her job hence second time he gave her a choice.

Now coming to the termination when you get romantically involved with your boss/employee it's impossible to maintain professionalism .I don't think Sona could have served notice period as it would be impossible for her so the best thing would be to leave the job immediately .I have a feeling Dev will make sure her dues are settled which is her right not any kind of favour .He might help her to get a new job.I know that move will be critized by many .Again I'm not saying Dev did the right thing all I'm trying to say is this is best for both Sona n Dev to stop working with eachim other .

I don't think Dev is in a state of mind to think the consequences of asking Sona not to work for him.He is being a boyfriend more than a boss who is busy breaking up with her .

Do you really think Dev has done some unforgivable crime ? He deserves a chance ...he must realise Ishwari's real issue and Sona''s worth .This separation will help and at the same time it will teach both Sona and Dev to trust their love and stand by each other during tough times .Life is not a bed of roses there will be ups and down and every couple must realise this. This is a testing period for both Sona and Dev and they will emerge stronger after this .Dev will realise that Sona is as important to him as his mother and he cannot live without her

I want to see a female lead different from the ones we see who is strong enough to stand by her love and ready to go against society norms .I wish they send a strong message that marriage is not the solution for all the problems and a single women can be happy and successful .

Agree with your last paragraphs. We want love stories where the leads break stereotypes and social norms to be with each other. And true. Is marriage the only solution to all problems? If questions of this sort are raised in the serial, it would definitely become a trend-setting one. Sonakshi's charater has the potential to do all these things. They should explore this side more.

People should love her and respect her because of her own capabilities not because she have so many potential boy friends. That concept is so wrong. Dev should win her back because he can't live without her. It should be impossible him to live without her. He should reach the point where he thinks death is better than with out her. Not because some one will take her so he wants her back. It was selfishness not love. Yes every one loves good people every one wants un complicated life but there is only few people who can accept flawed people.

Hi I am Nitu and you ?

Well said about having her back because he cannot live without her not because he cannot see her with someone ...this reminds me of Band Baja Baarat climax where I felt the hero wanted the herione back coz she was marrying someone else ...I never felt he truly loved her ...

I agree.. from now on Sona should be living her life without anyone guiding her. I don't want any Dev Dixit to help her out or control her life.
Dev should get to know that it is not Sona but he himself needs her. He should repent for giving it up so easily, for not keeping up his promises.
But but.. a sad ending spcly for this story I feel would give an impression of an incomplete story ending. If nothing is sorted out in the end, the things would be quite negative I feel.
Coz we would want to see how a mother this insecure will finally accept this girl into her son's life and how Dev convinces Sona to get back to him.
I want Dev to literally beg to Sona to come back to him. But I would want them to unite for sure.
I feel that their love would be incomplete in every sense if they don't unite.
Also the physical aspect, okay okay I know it is secondary and love is an emotion and all that but still it is also one thing that is important when two ppl are very much in love and are mature enough, it kinda increases your comfort level and you open up to each other.
They have not shown that aspect till now, so it needs to be touched at some point. Ofcourse not right now, it'll take time.
But an unhappy ending..for this show..I don't think there should be anything like that.
Although even I'm finding it difficult to forgive Dev but..I want him to go through all to get her back. And he should get her back.

hey nitu I am srujitha. Ya I feel these jealousy triangle mess up the show. Two people can sort out of issues with out third angles. But we can't expect Indian TV shows with out third angles [ LOL]

agree. She can do that grow in her career. Gradually met a guy if she is ready for another relationship she can do that. It will take at least 2 to 3 years

I am with u on this too much of dancing on dev's tune...and I really want dev n his mother to repent for all these I remember that dialogue of sona "aap ek paise wale gareeb hai jo iss doctor ko afford nahi sakte" and also one more when he broke her phone "aap ameer honge itne bhi nahi"

If there was a synonym for YAS, I'd be writing it write now. Sooo true!! I obviously want DevAkshi together at the end, but not if it means that they make Sona into his puppet. I don't want it to be that she loves him so she's just going to "live" with the fact that he has ruined her career. BE A WOMAN SONA, stand for yourself and tell him face to face that she's happy without him and that she doesn't need him. If he isn't willing to see what an amazing person you are, you are better off without him. Sorry, I love them so much but I also love Sona to the moon and I can't stand seeing her get beaten down like this by everyone related to Dev, including himself. I want Dev to have to work to redeem himself for Sona. Honestly Dev at this point needs a redemption as big as Theon's for me to feel like him as much as I did a few weeks ago.
