I am furious with Dev right now and I am definitely on #TeamSona (all the way! )
However I still believe DevAkshi haven't lost their charm! Why you ask?
I might be the typical fangirl who believes in her OTP but heck! So be it. 😎 I am so over the typical hate-into-love, bffs-to-lovers, flying-duppatta-wearing-secretaries/assistants-into-lovers tracks🤢
Because I would rather have a track that focused on how Dev would realize his humongous mistake by not understanding how the love from his two most important people have their own place in his life. How wrong he was to assume that one was more important than the other while in the first place there should have been no comparison between the two at all!
I want to see a Dev who finally sees his mother for the "human" she is rather than the whole "Bhagwan" persona he seems to have attached to her. To realize that he was equally wrong to have expected his mom to be "GOD". No one is perfect not even his mom. Also to realize that he can never take the happiness in his life for granted. Also that he cannot continue pretending to be someone who is a "fixer" who doesn't need any fixing himself.
I want to see him suffer, writhe in agony and feel ultimate remorse for being such an ass to the one girl who gave him the world!
I want to see an IMPERFECT man learn to become the perfect guy for our beautiful sherni Sona!
Because let's face it, no love story in the world is perfect, perfect is the journey towards making each other worthy of one another! That's the beauty of a story as unique as our DevAkshi and I am pumped to see how it unfolds!😃

I know everyone is surprised with how rude Dev is being to Sona right now. But we have seen this version of Dev right at the beginning of the show haven't we? He was a grade A A-hole to Sonakshi even back then. He literally crossed all the boundaries wrong/right when it came to his mom's well-being.
That was then. DevAkshi's equation has changed so the same rules don't apply you say? Of course they don't ! It's way worse this time around because he believes HE was the cause for his mom being at the hospital! He BLAMES himself and his relationship with Sona as the ONLY reason for his mom now lying on the hospital bed fighting for her life! So what do you expect from someone in that state of mind to do? Is it not exactly what Dev did? He lashes out at the one person who is closest to his heart - Sona and he punishes himself by doing the only thing he thinks would help making him feel less guiltier - getting rid of the very reason that put his mom in there. His relationship. This is the same guy who fired an innocent girl from her job only to make sure that she would have no choice but to take care of his mom's health. He has now become the very reason(he believes) that almost got his mom killed! what would he do?! He is not in his right sense of mind. I hope people can rationalize his behavior at the moment.
That so doesn't mean that he isn't wrong! Of course he is! you can be furious at him, hate him at the moment but remember that he's human too and a very imperfect human at that and all of us learn from our mistakes. Hope all of us remember this little but very IMPORTANT fact and give him a chance to redeem himself before passing judgement over his love for Sona which I believe has always been and always will be real and true!😊
