Parinita Story?

i think ishwari will suggest rishta of a bengali boy that the Boses will settle for Elena. Dev will think that it is Sona who got engaged. Sona will say that she has already taken the wedding vows with Dev and is a parinita.

But I really don't think they would have gone through all this pain of 120 episodes, establishing the fact that it is close to reality and then too unique drama showing various dynamics of mother-son; to finally show that Sonakshi is kind of Lolita waiting for her Shekhar all life and become his Parineeta...
Ishwari wouldn't spend that long to take Sonakshi as her DIL... I am somewhat sure about the fact that, agreeing to finally bring her as the bahu of the house and to actually accept her as one; it would be a transition period post Devakshi marriage...
The only sense of this separation before marriage is to establish a fact to Dev that you need to really find that balance between both the ladies such that your mother doesn't feels like your wife and your wife doesn't has to stand always in your mother's shoes to be understanding... This breakup is done only because Dev has to understand that running away is not a solution, you just can't just turn your back to your mother when you fell in love nor can you totally leave behind your girl when your mother wanted you... This is a complete trial and error thing for him before marriage... He will learn that eventually...

Apart from it, it will be Ishwari's journey to leave her insecurities and grow herself as a person... Promote herself from being just a mother to being a mother in law...

It will be Sonakshi's journey of being just the right daughter to being imperfectly perfect daughter in law and how to be herself still moulding herself to be just that Dixit daughter in law, that no other girl can become...

Remembering Shsheer's statement from one interview - It's a journey of growth of these three characters... And this is how they can be...

I am pretty sure that it will be a Bengali wedding only... I know someone or the other will still be unhappy with that fact... Though I would love if it will be a mixed wedding... like Sonakshi attired in Bengali attire and Dev coming in Sherwani instead of Dhoti kurta... Both the rituals are followed, it will be satisfying for both of them...
Oh Good, main phir bhaavnaao mein beh gayi... 🤣 Yahan Ishwari is not even accepting Sona and I am weaving stories about the wedding...

Coming to Monster in law, I haven't watched it so no opinions on that...
