Agree with you that all 3 needed this break up to bring that balance in their relationship. The pieces were not fitting properly. It had to be juggled and needed some wear n tear to fit the puzzle. I had to pause watching for a while when I reached the part were Sona said that everything will be fine since she will have Dev's support n that Dev will not let her fail. Just a simple statement of so much faith in him. He is going to shatter her faith brutally.

Sona had promised Dev that she will try for Ishwari to accept her n to allow her. She is relentlessly pursuing it. If she had opened up about this with her family they could have guided her and she would have known when to step back. She didn't know she was losing herself all the while. She asked Dev not to force fit her into his family n she was trying to do the same. She have always admired the relationship between Dev n his mother. Coming from a family who openly expresses everything she was unable to understand the intricacies with which this relation was woven. What she saw was what the mother n son wanted the world to see. She didn't want to become the reason for a split in that relation n tried her best not to involve Dev.

Ishwari have already decided that she cannot accept Sonakshi as her son's wife. She will try to find fault with Sona only. She blamed Sona today for taking Dev away from his family whom he cherished and loved to spend his time with. But that family is confined to his mother only 😆. She is not ready yet to face her reality.

Mr Bose knew that Sona was doubting herself because she confided in him. Her trying to mold herself into someone else is scaring him. His daughter who valued her selfrespect more than anything else was now losing herself. She doesn't have an existence on her own. She exists only for Dev. He haven't seen any efforts from Dev's side until now to have any peace of mind. If by any chance this relationship is not going to work he knew she will be shattered and wanted to know it then itself so that he can save his daughter.

The loving image of Ishwari visiting Sona after her accident might have been the reason that prompted Boses to take Elena n Saurav along. In their own words easy going family. Ishwari was already reeling from Sona's words that her son have chosen her for himself n if that is not enough for Ishwari to love her too, the same thing that Dev tells. Now she have got another reason to hide behind instead of confronting her real fears.

Dev is not aware of anything. Good. Now everything is set for his explosion after knowing Sona's family's insult. This is going to make Ishwari go over the rails. The time bomb is ticking now. Tick-tock, tick-tock.

I specially did not like Sona praising Ishwari's strengths. . Did you notice the way Ishwari scrubs her nose from the sides after it..?

It is a clear indication of 'supremacy and ego boost' in body language. . Must appreciate Supriyaji for keeping these little details in mind while enacting the emotions on screen😊

Dev has zero efforts to gel with Sonakshi's family.
