Totally agree with you !! Not going to add one more on this ...I think I have written enough today...that SBS scene ...GRRR was so disgusting , such an insult to all the love that poor girl showered on him😡. If he didnt want to say anything , he could have atleast given a look and walked off from there...absolutely humiliating !!

Agree with whatever you have written. Dev is great with words but he has yet to prove that he is more than just a talker. Taking a cake for her mum, gifting her a phone, etc are all nice & cute. Such things ADD to the relationship as a whole & make it wonderful. But while he excels on these extras he totally fails in the major things. On a serious note, I second you on sweet gestures towards parents and romantic lines being only the add-ons to a relationship while the major thing is the work and respect in a relationship. If you respect a person, if you truly loved that person, you couldn't, wouldn't stand watching anyone disrespect her the way he is right now. What a colossal disappointment man! Such a waste of a great character. It's the details and taking care of the small things that make a great character. I hope like you we get to see Dev back to what he was during Kushal Roy track. That Dev seriously did look like someone who had a clear idea about what or how a life-partner should be like. that Dev was an altogether completely different being in contrast to the one we see now

Like you I will also wait patiently (hopefully) till the picture clears up a little or I don't see myself coming back tbh -_-

BTW I hope we get to see that angry Dev soon , this one in SBS didn't look like he wanted to murder anyone at all!😕

@ Bold , spot on ...cleansing should start from home. No guts to protect her from his own relatives 😡 but have all the guts to interfere in her career and humiliate her. As if she needs his help to succeed in his life. Her greatest enemies are in his own house .

I see that everyone here are as pissed as few of us on Twitter too. Glad to see all of us are on the same page. Honestly, until yesterday I was the one asking people to understand that Dev wasn't doing it on purpose. that it's the way he always has been and that he really does believe that he has no other choice. But after I watched the SBS segment I couldn't help but agree with them lot. Here he had a choice & he disappointed me with him keeping mum!

The question is - will the makers see this an angsty romantic gesture or see the underlying hypocrisy? Like you said, he was hardly the best boss so it is laughable that he is asking her present boss to treat her with respect.

I am not on twitter. Is everyone on twitter really raising similar sentiments? In which case, I hope some of it reaches the makers.

@ Bold -You took the words right out of my mouth! Honestly, that's what I expected him to do too. But no! By behaving the way he is with Ishwari right now and not shutting GKB up he's indirectly agreeing with their assumption that they are right in thinking that Sona wasn't good for him or that his relationship with her was completely wrong! What was that? So not what we expected from someone who declared that Sona belonged to him and that her rightful place was beside him whther it was his life or the family portrait!

@Red- I know right? Where did that Dev go?😲 What a disappoinment. He's a smart and very insightful businessman, to see him reduced to being a mamas boy is just heartbreaking.

I hope Sona or someone else [preferably Neha] make him realise what a failure he has been in terms of fulfilling his relationship with Sona.

He's definitely disappointing us but I love the fact that this show is ready to show characters full of flaws whether it be Dev or Ishwari. I would love to see how they show these flaws into their strengths.

Can't wait for this emotional rollercoaster ride. I'm team Sona all the way 😆

@Bold - that was one of the reasons why it was so different from other shows and why I fell in love with it too. Having said that, I truly believe there are some flaws that you can accept - the ones that make sense logically and some that you can't digest - the ones that infuriate you on every level especially when they make no sense what so ever. This one belonged to the latter category. Ishwari is completely wrong and none of us(or the makers no matter how hard they try)can justify what she is doing right now but I was never as disappointed with her as I am with Dev. Furious? Absolutely! But heart-broken- only for Dev

@red- I really hope so. I still obviously believe the separation track can do wonders for the show and what it stands for but I'm a bit apprehensive about it now since I see what they are doing with their characters. I hope they don't mess them up for the sake of drama and TRPs. *fingers crossed*

I know! Like the last time he did with GKB. It was heart breaking to watch him listen to crap being dished out and him on her lap doing nothing about it SBS segment 😡

@Bold - Spot on! Even I wonder sometimes about whether or not the makers see them as we do and are aware of the fact of how completely hypocritical or even contradicting their characters behave like.😕 Or do they take us for granted?

I and a few of my friends discuss the show - like 5- 6 of us I guess and all of us hold the same opinion. I am however unaware of the popular opinion on TW though! Hopefully, it's the same there too and like you I too hope it reaches the creatives on time.

Mamta Mam is very active in Twitter.All r tweeting the same.Some have demanded to bring Neel back also.For jealousy track.Just check her RT's n search #KuchRangPyaarKeAisebhi n also search @MamtaYPatnaik .

You can see many r on same page like us.

Both mom n son have double standards.Do things n have special rules according to their convenience.
