KRPKAB - Are current developments reflecting best possible approach?

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

What do I say about the current track going on in the show! So many contradictions, so many questions! Seriously!😳

I am not questioning the logics of the creative team! I am sure they have a certain justification for designing the tracks as they have aired out! But as viewers, we do analyze the situations and assess whether what is happening is best from various angles - practical, human and even emotional considerations.

Here is what I felt, and apparently I feel all characters are flawed in one way or another. 😭This is true of life too that no one is perfect and as a viewer one is able to see the imperfections in sitautions that happen in other people's lives so clearly but when it comes to oneself or when perceived from the perspective of the character, why are we not able to choose the best approach to get things done to ensure harmony and happiness I wonder!😆

Firstly the saas-bahu shopping experience. Well Sona is not the bahu yet, we could call her the would-be bahu I guess. And typically Saas and would-be bahu never get a chance to go out shopping - so where did this stupid idea even come into Dev's mind! Why does Dev come up with such suggestions and create complications!😡

And this habit of not telling ma and surprising her at the end is not going well with me at all! 😕Come on Dev! When did anything at all happen as a surprise! Surprises happen once in a while and the last surprise you gave ma was on her birthday and she did not like it one bit! Remember! Surprises are not for everyday brother, they are meant for exclusive occasions and once in a while. Everyday and every situation in life cannot be a surprise and if that happens there will be more cases of high or low blood pressure and hospital and ICU visits in everyone's lives!!! Please sudhar ja, kitni jaldi ho sake utni jaldi - for your own good!😳😃

At work nothing is a surprise! Everything is planned and as per schedule. There are discussions and interactions and then a common ground is reached by all parties involved! When and why did this change for home and especially for your interactions with ma?😕

Dev should have and should have I stress that - suggested to Ma, that he is thinking of asking Sona to come along as well for shopping nd see what is Ma's reaction. Mainly Dev has to ask Ma if she is ok with it and if it will help. Anything needs to be accepted and not forced or thrust down the throat on anyone! 🤔

He already realized this when he got a saree for his mother for her birthday and she has not worn it yet until this day. That should atleast give him a hint that Sona may not be the one who can help Eshwari in shopping and obviously Sona's choice was not what his Mom liked! How could he forget that so quickly!😲

When Sona is introduced as his choice of life partner, the first need is for Dev and Sona to talk to Eshwari ji, get and feel her acceptance in words, in emotions, in smiles and so many other instances. Like for example - getting ashirvad, praying in the pooja room as a couple, Eshwari ma looking at both of them and telling them that they will make a good couple, and the sisters feeling happy and sharing happiness that Sona is a good Bhabhi and so much more!😕😭

Eshwari ma was even thinking of making a sweet and feeding Sona and that did not even happen or Dev and Sona did not even let that happen. They quickly jumped into shopping of all things!😡

When being a couple is being discussed, then topics like marriage are they thinking of marriage rite away or they need time, when the marriage should happen - would it be in the near future or a year or so later, do Sona's parents know, when did the relationship start, how did they get to express their feelings and so many important things need to be discussed before the need to go shopping of all things!😲

Even the sisters are not clear as to what has happened and they are caught in a maze and just keeping silent not knowing what to ask and even if anything can be questioned or asked. Nikki's dialog 'second class citizens' is such a revelation of how both Eshwari Ma and Dev treat the sisters - totally un-involved in anything that happens in the house!🤢

And what was the dialog at the shopping mall! Dev asks Sona 'See ma is happy to come shopping with you, what else do you need' and Sona says 'I dont need anything else, everything is perfect' - Seriously! Everything about that situation is so obviously imperfect! 😕Ma is sitting alone making selections and Dev is in another counter with Sona when his initial intention to bring Sona was so she could help Ma to select and not go on her own to do her own selections in a different counter! Come back to the ground Dev and Sona, get your objectives and priorities rite, before you get lost in each other, in a dream land where everything looks perfect!

The shopping experience should have been about Eshwari ma and what she wanted! And Eshwari ma should ask Sona what she likes and for which room and it had to be a joint experience, an experience where Sona tried to understand what Ma wanted. After all, Sona is out only to help and not to decide! That was such a bad shopping experience, one with no emotional considerations at all! Everyone seemed to be lost in their own space, thoughts and needs not considering the other. 😕

In case Sona went to another counter thinking that she wanted to give Dev space with his mother, then when Dev walked over to her she should have asked him to stay with Ma! In case Dev wanted SOna to come for shopping to help ma, then he should have requested Sona to stay with ma all the time! In case Eshwari ma wanted to be with Dev for the shopping she should have openly said she does not want Sona to accompany them during shopping! I would forgive Eshwari ma in this situation as she was trying to keeo Sona involved. My negative points go to both Dev and Sona in this situation for ignoring Eshwari ma and her feelings!😳

One big blunder has been done and they dont even realise what they have done! This is the limits! Dev and Sona start of this way and definitely we can see they are about to face a lot of difficulties in future. 😭

Even in the earlier situation when Sona helped to select the saree, Dev clearly said that Ma was not happy and Sona failed to see the point there. She said that ma could never be unhappy with anything Dev does! What logic is this! If Dev recognized the smile missing in Ma then it is a point to be considered and not be ignored so lightly as Sona did!😕

So quickly the next situation has presented itself - the family potrait! Sona clearly accepted that she did not feel she should be a part of the family potrait. Then wonder why she says to Eshwari Ma that both she and Dev were sad that ma had selected the picture that did not have her in the picture!!!

Moreover she is in the pic with her colourful glass designed old and boring handbag! 😛No one stands in a family potrait with their work handbag! 😆That entire situation was so forced and uncomfortable. Sona should have denied to stand in the potrait to save herself the humiliation! Sona is definitely smarter than that - or so we thought! But clearly she is proving us wrong!😕

And with her entry - even Nikki who is the bubly of the lot has lost her smile and the final family potrait, with or without Sonakshi - has Nikki without a smile!!! Cant everyone see that the entire Sonakshi as part of the family is not being well accepted!🤢

Dev, coming to you! Whats up with you! Dont you even ask ma and tell her what you feel and get her permission before taking a decision like that! Come on Dev! You can just in the last minute just jump on actions like that and accept everyone to be ok with whatever you do!

In case everyone were ready and knew Sonakshi was going to be a part of the picture - it is possible that you dream may have come true!😳 Imagine - Dev requested ma and ma accepted that it is ok for Sona to be in the picture and then the entire family is waiting for Sona to come and when she comes, ma invites Sona to join in the pic - then that would have been perfect rite? Why does it not strike you to plan ahead?😡

And if Dev had asked and Ma has accepted, she would not have had a choice to take a pic without Sona. And if Ma did not accept, then the discussion could have happened before hand and all the humiliation and confusion need not have happened at all!😊

Dev knows only too well how he felt when Gujral Sahab threw the engagement within two days suggestion with Natasha bomb over a conversation and Dev felt suffocated and did not like it one single bit! 😕

It is the same situation here Dev! Cant you see! I mean, Eshwari ma has accepted and said your happiness is her happiness but still you need to follow protocol - rite?

Say for example in office if you have an important meeting and Tina in the last minute brought in a new participant to attend the meeting, a key person who is going to change the game plan altogether - would that be acceptable? Ofcourse not! A meeting that is planned with n number of participants needs to go on with the n number of participants. If n+1th participant is coming, this has to be informed earlier or a new meeting planned in future that includes the n+1th person.🤔

Well it is possible to somehow accomodate and have the n+1th person in the meetin, but however there will be an uncomfortable feeling of having a new un-planned person in the meeting, and it is highly possible that the new person will feel like an intruder and someone who does not belong in the moment!

Planning is part of perfection! If Dev and Sonakshi are perfectionists then their approches are absolutely not showing that they are perfectionist or choosing the best approach to deal with situations!😕

But well Dev has had the habit of doing things and not informing the people who need to be informed - like for example the jodi.com profile creation, he just went ahead and did it and did not feel the need to discuss with anyone or get anyones suggestions on whether his approach was good or not! Even when Tina has an opinion he ruled her out and felt his decision was correct. So Dev is the 'I know what I am doing' type of person. But with his mother one would expect differently? Maybe not. That is the case anyways. Even with his mother, he feels he knows what he is doing - and he is wrong - and he has probably not realised that he is wrong!

Even with Sonakshi, he asked her 'isnt that a good thing' to do the un-expected, and Sonakshi had told him that it is so only in business and not in personal life! But still the point has not sunk in Dev yet.😕

Sonakshi says that being a woman she probably understands Eshwari ji more - but she is totally missing the point. This shows clearly in the next halwa scene!

Women like and want to be heard and that is rule number 1. But Sonakshi is totally not trying to see Eshwari ma's viewpoint in any situation!

When it took her a few years to learn and become a Nutritionist, it is but a known fact that you dont become a perfect chef in one try! It is simple common sense! And the main point is why is she even trying to be one!😡

Firstly, cooking has to be a passion and not a duty as a housewife or a daughter-in-law. Secondly, you start from basics and not straight jump into final exams in the kitchen and thirdly one has to know what they are capable of! Sona knows that she sucks big time in cooking! Even during the marriage vows she clearly said she wont be able to cook and Dev has accepted the fact and then what is the need to even try her hands at cooking!😕

Ok fine - she probably is trying to impress Eshwari ma - but we all know that the best way to impress a person is to appreciate the person and not to replace them! And she is trying to learn everything from Eshwari ma to become as good as her? Does it not strike Sona that it is not something she should even try to do? A mother has an irreplacable place in anyone's life and Sona knows that!

It would have been admirable if Sona tried new dishes at home as her recipes and introduced them rather than try to do something that Eshwari ma is perfect at doing and that too in her first attempt and expect to be good at it!😃

Lets say Eshwari ma wanted to become a Nutritionist, what would Sona's thought be? It is not easy to be one! Not everyone can become anything and everything at the thought of wanting to do so! It takes a certain skill level and more than everything passion, time and practice to learn a skill!

And a basic point is Sona has not even tried Eshwari ma ke haath se banaya hua Besan Ka Halwa to even know how it is supposed to taste in the first place 😆for her to even appreciate what it is in the halwa that Dev likes the most! There are so many minor points that Sona is totally missing and she is acting like an uneducated child trying to believe that learning a language is as easy as clicking a finger and clapping hands! Come on Sona! Wake up!😃

And what was that dialog 'This halwa will remind me that I have to learn to make halwa as good as you make it' - What attitude in that dialog! Sona, you first need to realize that when one person is good at something, the skill is appreciated, appreciated to a level that the appreciator totally understands that perfection is not easy and perfection comes with practice!😳

This goes with any skill - not only cooking! rite? Anyone skilled person will agree to this! It could be cleaning the house or gardening or cooking or sewing or being a nutritionist! No one becomes perfect in the work they do by chance! It takes patience, passion and a keen interest to learn and multiple tries, trial and error and ultimately confidence that the end product meets the level of perfection needed to gain consistent appreciation!😳

Sona was flawed all the way this week - rite from not staying with Ma during the shopping experience, to allowing Dev to fit her in the family potrait, to later telling Eshwari ma that she is hurt the family potrait chosen did not have her in it and later trying to become a master chef in one try to do the disk that Eshwari ma is best at doing and later showing attitude to Eshwari ma telling her that she will one day have to learn to make halwa like her! Totally flawed and totally un-inspiring!

Dev was flawed all the way this week as well for not understanding his mother one bit 😕- for not conveying his thoughts to his mother about wanting to take Sona with them for shopping or to have her in the family potrait and also mainly for not asking Sona to be with his mother during shopping and not shop on her own in a different counter. Dev totally missed understanging his own intentions and his mother's perspective all the way!

Eshwari ma is in the most difficult spot here, she wants to accept Sona but is not given the time and space to do so, with Sona expecting to be accepted already and Dev not considering her views and going ahead with decisions as though she was no one in the equation!😲

My sympathy goes to Eshwari ma this time! 😎Dev and Sona are clearly heading for a separation the way they are dealing with the entire situation! In reality one would expect a couple of deal with such situations with much more intelligence and emotional understanding of the parties involved!

Well - all this may be a deliberate effort by the creative team to develop the story towards a break-up! But in the viewers mind, one only wishes that even if a break-up was to happen, the situations preceding it were all practical and well thought through and the break-up still had to happen for some other valid reason - rather than as shown rite now - where the issues causing the break-up are quite ridiculous and not thought through! 😊

Relationships are like that piece of glassware where 'handle with care' remains a given and every move has to be taken with care to ensure there is no crack in the first place that makes the relationship flawed and especially this quickly! 😆Eventually all relationships have their own set of cracks and flaws but atleast in the beginning one would expect the parties involved to be extra careful and conscious of their actions!

We already know what to look forward to in the coming week - and I am sure it is not very appealing to most audiences!
- Sona's parents walk in visit to Eshwari's house without even informing Sona: Again a nonsense idea! Such things need to be planned much in advance and everyone need to know what is happening. One does not just walk in especially when Sona is in the house to discuss Rishta and dates!😆

- Eshwari ma attempts suicide is totally pathetic! I wish no one in this world contemplates suicide over discussing out on issues that concern them! Such bad inspiration!

- Dev decides to split with Sonakshi is another blow and rash decision without the thought of considering a slow process of talking through with Eshwari ma and giving time to resolve the situation, a decision to call it off and break-up is indeed ridiculous!😕

- And the most annoying development is Eshwari ma looking for rishta for Sonakshi! This is the heights of ridiculousness - seriously! Eshwari is just like Dev or actually Dev is like Eshwari ma! Pehle - beta ne banaya jodi.com par profile and now Eshwari ma is doing a similar task - that she caused the break-up and to make up for it now she is finding for a good match for Sonakshi! What non-sense!😭😆😃

Well - we still enjoy the show for Shaheer playing the character of Dev and I guess many others have their reasons for continuing to watch the show!

Lets see if the show will get back to being intelligent as it was before! We did see some interesting developments during the accident track and post accident as well! Hopefully the upcoming tracks will become intelligently enjoyable as well soon!

All the best to team KRPKAB!

U knw @S7278087...i couldn't Agree with you more... I totally feel every point u said is so relevant regarding the current scenario of the show...
U knw I was thinking of making a post of just th similar points as u did..but I couldn't find the right words and u hav done it so perfectly..
Being a ardent fan of the show... This was the first time I felt dev and sona were so out of their characters..
Sona.. Being such a mature and understanding girl could not understand the motive of Dev in taking her shopping along with ishwari..
As u correctly said that she went there to bond there to bond with ishwari not to do the actual shopping.. And what was the point of going and selecting things according to her choice..
She should have talked with ishwari and both of them would hav got to knw about each other taste..

And regarding photo shoot scene...
God.. How come Dev does not realise that sona is not a part of their family till now.. I knw it was a sweet gesture from his side and all but still..
How can he just force his decisions on all other family members like that..
Dev.. This was not done..
As u
rightly said.. If he wanted to include sona in the family pic.. He should have discussed with others..
Its not right to force ur relationship on others..
It be had discussed it beforehand..the reactions he got would not have been so dramatic..
It was a very simple situation. I felt bad for ishwari at that point of time...
Heck.. I m a young girl and if u ask me I totally would hav never agreed to be in the family photograph of my boyfriend at the first place...thats just so not correct..
And Im saying this irrespective of the situation.. Even If the boys family loves u very much.. I still wouldn't have agreed... It jus doesn't feel right...
