Awesome post n analysis 👏👏

I don't mind Sona marrying someone. If Dev cannot take a stand for his love.Try to convince his mom.Why Sona should wait for a person like him.

What is the guarantee.Again he will not take impulsive decision seeing Ishwari doing something bad.I prefer Sona to be single or if she wish she can marry someone.

I read in a post Sona will be like Meera. Why should be Sona be like Meera n wait for Dev to come. After mommy gave him permission.

CV's better they show strong Sona.Who does not give dam about Dev.Concentrate on her career. They should not show her waiting for Dev or hoping he will comeback one day.

I am still thinking about it.. The feminist in me wants her to refuse the romantic in me... wants her to accept.

There is this person I know who is perfectly sensible and a lovely person to boot. Her boyfriend is a jerk and they had a break up a few months back cos he apparently lost interest in her but I know for a fact that she would run back to him even now if he shows the slightest of interest. I have reached that stage where nothing annoys me more than 'true' love or whatever else you call it cos sensible ppl go off the rails after falling in love 😆 So point of my rant. She will probably understand and eventually accept him. I have seen worse on TV. Ppl accept downright abusive guys and jerks in the name of love without as much as a redemption 😆

Thinking, analyzing, being considerate, being strong-headed- Dev has lacked these qualities right from the beginning. That's why I always wonder how did Dev become a successful businesman because it does require one to have these basic qualities. Acting irrationally under impulse is what he has been doing throughout, be it getting Sona fired or be it his actions post-confession. I don't see him acting differently when it's work either. An impulse is all it takes for him.

Dev is very very immature, I literally cringed when he said things like "haq hai mera. Let me doodle your neck" to Sona. Hello! She is her own person, please don't talk/act nonsense. One reason if Sona does accept Dev than that will be only and only because she loves him madly. Other than that, Dev is just not worth it.

On a second thought sona should put a condition like neha... And ask dev and her to luve separately from the family.. That woould be a relief

Word! It's plain sad that someone like Sona went loony too.

The repercussion of this story is ONLY negative .. Dev losing respect for Ishwari, Sona losing respect for Dev.. 👎🏼

In bold, this is the final nail in the coffin. No recovery from here.

So as per the latest updates/spoilers/promo, Dev hastily breaks up with Sona realizing his mother doesn't like her.. Wow great going 👏 .. So it doesn't take much for Devbabu to break a girl's heart and his numerous meaningless promise and to put her into pedestrian 😕.. At later point of time, when Ishwari realizes her mistake blah blah, I'm assuming it would be Ishwari to pull the strings up again and ask Sona to come back..

Now I am really doubtful/clueless about the reasons why Sona should allow Dev back in her life ! Sorry to say, but in real world, love is not ENOUGH that keeps a relationship going.. If it is indeed a real approach (?) then as a modern, independent woman, the qualities a woman searches in a man are honesty, integrity, independence, good decision making skills, managing skills in the hour of need (either home or people or situation) etc.. Might be more, but these are very basic ones.. With surrendering to his mom, Dev proves to have NONE of these.. His honesty, integrity goes for a toss when he breaks his endless promises and proves to be a cheater..

If I am at Sona's place, I would have refused to take this man back at later point of time.. When time will come, there is a high chance he will follow the same escape mechanism.. There is no strength of this character anymore.. Who would like to choose a life-partner who takes such drastic decisions just because of some unfair demands of his mother, who would like to spend life with such a man who has absolutely NO guts to stand for his decision which he believes to be right.. Who would like to choose such life partner who can treat you like THIS in the time of any problem ?? How will Dev regain the RESPECT Sona has for him ? Love might never die whatever, how will Dev redeem himself in the eyes of Sona in future for doing this ??

I am really trying to find a SINGLE reason Sona should accept this character as her life-partner in future.. It will be really disappointing of Sona 'understands' Dev's problem and keeps on justifying this act in the name of showing 'realistic' approach.. Because nothing can justify a track of a boy taking a girl to the lala-land and making shitloads of romantic promises only to break them and the girl later for his unfair family reasons that also after becoming financially successful and at late 20's.. 😛

***********************************************

Sorry to say but this is highly disappointing.. This reminds me of a very popular story - Devdas.. Similar fickle-minded character who dumps the love of his life at the drop of hat for his family only to realize his mistake later.. The same depression he will be going through here too.. But TRUST me, there is always a Paro in Devdas - a strong independent woman who loathes such weak character in a man and goes to choose another life-partner to spend her life with.. Paro's might keep loving Dev till the end of time, but Devdas's can never have Paro once they lose them for their own weak and bad decision-makings.. This story is also very similar to many real-life examples.. I have plenty of friends who have gone through this torture just because the parents of the boy/girl doesnt approve of the other.. And trust me, once the boy/girl initiates the break-up, the LAST thing they do is to get back together ever no matter what.. No one is a tennis-ball to play with 😕 The repercussion of this story is ONLY negative .. Dev losing respect for Ishwari, Sona losing respect for Dev.. 👎🏼

100% true.I am confused about sona reactions and talks in second and third initial promos of this show. How come she had forgiven this guy and his disgusting mother and speaking so lovely with him.How on the earth an educated independant working woman can accept the guy who left her in the time of need to support his mother jealousy and stupid insecurities.I could not understand on how the viewers are feeling happy that dev will come to sona after the breakup with lame excuses?I am not happy with this news but i am getting so much angry on sona for allowing and supporting him after breakup and people will say it as a maturity.I feel they made her as any daily soap herion who will forget about the humiliation done by her BF and his family with a big heart because she loves him.But which educated ,employed woman on the earth will lose her self respect for the sake of so called timid love of her BF who will forget once his mother threatens him by committing suicide. How can he support her even if she marries him?

@ RR - I hope you're not talking about Deepika and Ranbir 😆😆

@ Thanks everyone .. Thanks for agreeing and I am happy to see here everyone thinks objectively rather than seeing it from a couple fan POV.. I myself am confused about what I want since I would love to see Devakshi together, but not at the cost of someone's self-respect

@ Linnstar - If Sona attempts suicide after this, I can SO imagine Dev spending his entire life juggling between Mental Asylum (for himself), Jail and Hospital (each at one place) 🤣
