This is not a Surprise, Dev!

I think Dev has some seriously bad notions about what a surprise is.😆

Surprise is supposed to make you feel good not shocked.😆

I felt so bad for him, He is not wrong in anyway. How would he know that Ishwari has her set of security issues when it comes to sharing Dev? She has always been so vocal about her being happy with Dev's happiness. Why would he even think that She will be irritated with his Innocent gestures to make Sona already feel a part of his family. And to top it, Nobody in his family actually gives a damn about Dev and his love, everyone is just concerned about Ishwari's reactions.

Ishwari wasn't wrong either. . She doesn't want to spoil the 'family' moment,Agreed!. . But what she said in the precap was plain rude. 🥱Doesn't accept Sona as a part of the family, neither does she foresee her as a part of it in the future.

Mamaji is nothing but Ishwari's mirror. He just reflects her own thoughts so that Ishwari is able to understand what is going on in her mind, clearly.

To begin with, The bedsheet scene.

Yayy, because Dev said he could buy all of those.😆 Tried staying clear of the confusion.

But, no, how typical of a mother to first snatch the phone from your hand and then say your thing. 😆The makers associate these little things with real life, makes the show so much more relatable.😳

(One such scene more was when Ishwari exclaims, Aa gaya mera bachcha. . When Neha comes😳)

So, Ishwari you force your son, who apparently is bad at these things, to make a choice. And when he does that. .you feel bad? Bedsheet hi toh hai. .How does the color of bedsheet decide whom he gives more importance to?

Whatever that was, but Dev's words after that were sprinkling salt and lemon to Ishwari's fresh wounds. Ouch! 😆But, no doubt it was very cute Mr. Oblivious Dev Dixit.😳 Ishwari has the amazing ability to feel 'uneasy' any moment she is emotionally hurt. Ekdum thak jaati hai😕😆. She leaves, without eating the icecream *oh god😳*

Mamaji comes. .

"Arre, Ice cream nahi khaayi"😲

Hawww. . 😲Aisa kaise ho gaya. .😲 Blah blah.😲 All this just makes feel Ishwari worst.

Every single person, be it Mama-Mami, Nikki, Rhea, Neha (She knows now, and as expected She fears Ishwari's resentment too) in the Dixit family all are aware of Ishwari's tendencies except Dev. Just because Ishwari is his God, perfection. While the rest of the family looks at her as a human, a mother.

The 'badlaav' talk throughout the episode made me roll eyes.🥱😆

Aww. . The DevAkshi scene was so cute, again.😳😳

Those three words. .

Dev ji, let us forumwaasis speak those magical words to you

"You are a buddhu"😆 But a right buddhu, for a right person.

Mr Dixit is raising our hopes high by repeatedly saying that his proposal will be the best ever.. lets see whether it is even possible with the speed with which your mother is getting irked.🤢

Like I said in the beginning, Beta Dev, this is not a Surprise. It is a Shock! For Sona (had she known, she herself would have stopped Dev), and all the Dixits.😆

He was so excited for Sonakshi to be there.Aww😳! I think tomorrow will be the very first time Dev will notice that something is not right. Get ready for a emotional roller coaster Dev and everyone here.

He will try to fit Sonakshi into the relationships even more, ending up making things worst. Sonakshi is trying to take it one day at a time, how nicely she tried to balance the bedsheet thing too.😳

The best part of the Episode for me was, Bijoy-Sona conversation. The way they both had tears in their eyes . . And turned away to count 1,2,3 must have struck a chord with all the daughters and their fathers out there.❤️

P.S the way Elena fainted in the background when Sona got a call from Dev😆. My sister acts the same way😆

Dev doesn't know what is actually happening around him. It is the first time he is this happy and he assumes that everyone will be just like he will be for others. Sona had been there in his house for some time now n he again assumes that everyone likes her. How can anyone not like her the person she is is beyond him. He now wants everyone to be comfortable with the change in their relationship dynamics.

The way Dev behaves is also Ishwari's fault to an extent. She always made him believe that whatever his decision as long as he is happy she also will be. Until now she never gave Dev any chance to contradict this.

She is going to break his heart inturn breaking Sona's and then ours.💔

Same pinch, the best part of the episode for me too was the Father-daughter scene. Such deep emotions potrayed with such simplicity. Reminded me why I fell in love with this show.

Coming to Dev, poor guy is gonna just mess things up for himself real bad. Looks like his sisters understand his mom more than him. I'll come back to them in a moment. I genuinely felt bad for the guy today. He tries to make everyone happy but ends up screwing up most of the time. This is gonna strike a chord with many guys out there. He was well intentioned and wanted to buy all the bedsheets, but Ishwari didnt let him and he was caught between the devil and the deep sea.

Coming to the sisters, Why can't anyone in the Dixit house be happy for hiim yaar? Like W*F, your brother is in love!! Be happy for him for 2 seconds before worying about Ishwari's reaction. No wonder Dev didn't want to share Sonakshi. His family is really crazy. I ended up feeling bad for him, he is always there for everyone and willing to solve their problems but noone is ready to spare 2 mins to actually be happy for his happiness. Yes, he is moving too fast and sometimes his approach isnt the best, but so what? Big deal. He still deserves a good reaction. Something that Sonakshi got from her father and sisters. She's a lucky girl.

Today Ishwari had way too much screen time I felt. But atleast she was not obnoxious so its okay!

I know I have always given Dev stick in the past and been more pro- sonakshi, but today I just felt really bad for him. Sonakshi was awesome as usual. No complains there :)

Yes, Even I have always been pro-sonakshi. . But felt horrible for Dev.

But, after looking at the promo today. . Now we know why the sisters are reacting like this. Why is Dev oblivious to this.

Because Dev will be even more guilty of overlooking his mother. .vto the extent that her life was in risk. . While all his family was well aware of Ishwari's unhappiness.

I feel even worst for Dev and Sonakshi now😭 Just plain Heartbroken!
