I noticed that some feel that Ishwari was at fault yesterday. I feel differently..

Short of actually suggesting Dev to tell her about his feelings for Sona, Ishwari did just about everything else. She categorically asked him twice to reveal his real question. Considering her insecurities regarding the issue, I thought it was mighty strong of her to actually even prod Dev for the real reason.

Unlike typical shows Ishwari doesnt try to change the topic or at the first hesitation from Dev she doesn't up and go citing some silly reason. She actually tried to open him up. She is the kind of woman who carries a knife and goes to work at night to put food on the table for her kids. She could have handled anything Dev said, at least on the surface. She could be dying inside but she will face it.

That's toughness!!

I wont say that I liked the kitchen scene though. It was completely out of the left field. She could have been doing a million other things. Also "mujhe mat toko, mai tumhari maa hoon" was a bit over the top.

As far as the revelation goes Ishwari was definitely not at fault IMO.

pehlii baar aapne kuch sahi bola hei.. 👏

But yaar that choolha scene had some realistic importance... the dialogs really have deep meaning... I could feel pain of an old mother who feels useless because of her sons behaviour... this happens a lot around us now a days... CVS pointed it out beautifully

I agree with you on the revelation part... Ishwari was not at fault there... She wanted Dev to tell her about his and Sona's relationship and it was absolutely clear that she knew he came to talk about it.

The bedroom scene Ishwari really tried to get Dev to talk to her and when he diverted the topic she was hurt .
now the kitchen scene I felt Ishwari just wanted to send Dev a message that she is the same person that he used to come home from school telling her all his secrets

Then I urge you to read my posts again. I have only said good things about Ishwari's characterization. You see her get irritated with Sona and then immediately regret. The conflict between her possessive and innate goodness. This is actually something that I think most of us relate to (I dont mean being a possessive mother but being conflicted about doing the right thing or to doing what we want) . I definitely do.

Its Devs and sometimes Sona's that I have a problem with. One is on one end of the perfection scale (Sona) while the other is gradually inching towards the opposite end (Dev). There is just no balance between the two. I actually fail to understand what Sona sees in him especially after yesterdays episode.

Dev being a mommas boy is fine. It can be a good quality. Means he respects women. Thats the premise we started with and thats where I still see him. I see no growth, apart from falling in love I see nothing in him. We can have this show run for a year and we will still not see him outgrow his mommas apron strings.

Thats is the problem.

Oops didn't recognize you withOUT your trademark image/message😉😉

I can relate to khana banana ...purani choolha nikalna? To phati hui purani kapde bhi seeke pehente??

Thats melodrama not just simple drama and we see melodrama in every other show😃😃

But I guess some liked it so its fine. I may not have liked it but I dont have a problem with it.
