Where many writers always take the easy route of categorizing characters as protagonists and antagonists, this show has characters with real writing behind them. Every character serves a purpose. As an over view, the show is about the different shades of love, primarily concentrating on the love of a mother and the various emotions she goes through. The show is very pretty looking with some very few caricature kind of characters but with a very realistic approach to the whole conflict they are playing with regards to a mother torn between her own insecurities and her trying to understand and accept the changes in her son's life and of course Dev and his own journey of changes where till now it was all about his mother and family and now he has someone else as well. It is the way the show is written that sets it apart from the rest.😊❤️
