So clearly Ishwari is out of control with her emotions, there is no logic/common sense when it comes to Dev. And yes, some lines she has been given are pretty creepy, almost gross!
Ok so now we have this, then she agrees for Devakshi but continues cold/atrocious treatment towards Sona 🤢, then Dev finally comes to realize because remember Maa kuch kehti nahi hai lekin main samajhta hoon!! 👏👏

Begin Break-up phase... During that phase, would Dev give back similar passive aggressive treatment to Ishwari or totally passive and be this bechara main sab sambhaal leta hoon. Then Ishwari going in maha-guilt mode?

Any ideas on what will snap Ishwari out of this behaviour??

Am not bashing, love this show but am too nervous that this may turn into saas-bahu show, hope they stay true to their USP.

Only way is for Dev to be assertive about Sona and not give in easily.
Of course there are other ways...just for fun...

Dev and Sona get married in a register office and tell iswari to deal with it.
Dev tells his mother he Sona is expecting his child...

love your imagination.. but ain't going to happen...

He is Dev... worships his mother... not GOD. The day he loses the sense of worship is when he will wake up. therefore, something has to come out from the cupboard... Khatri for example.

the old cliched saying is always true - people who live in glass houses must not throw stones. She is living in a glass house and flinging all crap at Sona whose day will come. The glass house will break one day.

Ishwari is clinging on to the past way too longer!! Hoping she gets an answer for the present & the future in her past itself...The cvs do love to show Ishwari holding on to every little detail of her & Dev's past...

And Dev when he realizes what his mother is going through is not going to fight with her or make her understand...because uska ma uska sab kuch hai..! She's the most important woman in his life..He as it feels that he's indebted to his mother for whatever hardships she's gone through for all of them to survive...so we can all predict how Dev is going to face all of this. Having said that I would love to see the cvs surprise us!
