Once of the things that has stood out is the parallels that the CVs have time and again tried to show us.

And yesterday's episode stood out for that many reasons.

The CVs have always tried to highlight the parallels in the following

1. Sibling Love - Sona with her brother and Cousin with whom she could even share her love for Dev when it was a hopeless, without a future and a one-sided feeling. And here Dev was never friends with his sisters. I would love to see the bond better, see his sisters tease them, support them... It would at least make this entire insecurity track a little more bearable.

2. Mother Love - We have seen the contrast of Asha and Ishwari as how Asha is loving to her son and daughter while Ishwari is all about her son. Asha loves both her children immensely and is happy if her children are happy. While Ishwari loves Dev more and is happy if Dev is with her , for her and happy because of her.

3. Family Bonding - We have seen Dev also mention this to Sona... Aapki family bahut achchi hai.. Meri bahut complicated hai. Sona mentioned this, meri jo hai waise hai... these hidden meanings, dialogues she doesn't understand

The most important of them all that got highlighted was the was agian a parallel with Dev's family and Ranveer's.

4. Responsibility - Ranveer also doesn't have a father. In this case Ranveer and his brother jointly took up the responsibility of the house. While they stike to provide for their families, they didn't compramise on the family love. It didn't stop his brother from getting married, having children on his own and living his life, while Ranveer chose to teach. Do something that he likes to do.

While Dev shouldered the responsibility alone. Never did his mother think that he should have a life of his own. Never did she think, he is old enough to get married.

5. Appreciation - Everyone of us have been taken aback by Neha's new found attritude. Either Ranveer nor Neha are negative...yayyy 👍🏼. But Neha is finally getting appreciated for the small contributions that she makes while her biggest sacrifices went unnoticed by her own mother... They brought about the change.

6. Lastly Mother-in-Law Love.
Here is where yesterday's episode stood out. Ranveer's mom ( RM) so as a matter of fact said, Neha would have convinced him and after marriage boys don't listen to their mothers or bhabhi's. There was no complaint. It was a statement. They agreed Ranveer ko akal aa hi gayi. So they saw an issue with Ranveer's thinking and were happy that he saw sense.

While Ishwari is ready to blame Sona ki khusbhu kaam ho toh phul ki galati nahi, hawa ki hoti hai...

RM so sweetly mentioned it is not important that we live togetherr, Dilon mein, rishton mein duriyaan nahi aani chahiye... While Ishwari doesn't care Dil aur Rishton mein kitne gaant aaye...Dev has to be with her..

One more problem Devakshi are going to face is Neha setting up her own home. When Ishwari cannot trust her daughter to live with her in-laws, it is going to fuel her insecurities further that when Dev gets married even he will setup his own home not understanding the motive behind the action i.e. privacy or the lack of it.

That has always been her problem she never tries to understand the thought behind the action and only focus on the action itself, e it her birthday gift, be it Dev hiding Sona's importance, be it Dev attending the Puja or now be it Neha moving into the new home.

Kudos to you CVs... Pyaar ke kitne Rang!!👏👏

I think that is the reason the CVs dropped the idea of Neha turning even remotely negative - as in cribbing about her living circumstances or whatever.
Neha now has something with her in-laws that Dev doesn't have with his mom. Trust and acceptance.

You are right in saying that with Ishwari, there is no middle ground. It's all or nothing. No sharing. When she was talking to her brother last night... crying over the fact that Dev listened to Dr Bose...it reminded me of one of the Telugu movie dialogue roughly translated - doesn't matter if I lose. HE should not win.

I imagine how we would be with our Sons. If they liked someone and didn't tell us won't we egg them on... tease them a little give them a benefit of doubt that maybe they themselves don't realize and ask them... do they like the girl...Any normal mother would... Should...

"Normal..." Ishwari doesn't fall in this category so forget what I just said.

In all this, I actually feel sorry for Dev like yesterday when he tried to stop Sona... she asked why.. he said... mein bas... mein bas aapko dekhna chahata hoon..I thought his voice chocked...
The guy has such little expectations for himself.. subconsciously he is feeling that Ishwari has changed and will not accept Sona.. that's why the further delay according to me.

Dev's eyes have lost the spark... There is a forever tired look in them. He also realizes he hasn't been able to spend enough time with Sona. Its only a matter on time since he realizes why... and he will confess to Ishwari that day.

@bold... Ishwari just wants to win.. Now it is not about insecurities it is now zidd.. There is a full time cook, a nutrition and yet if Dev has to come back and set her plate... Poor guy kya kya karega!!

I personally feel Dev can definitely sense it.

Maybe. Whether he is feeling / sensing his mom's thoughts or not, he wants Sonakshi. Wants to lean on her at least for a while. He is there for the whole family. He wants her to be there for him. And she is. But Ishwari has got a chock hold on his time.

Dev's eyes have lost the spark... There is a forever tired look in them. He also realizes he hasn't been able to spend enough time with Sona. Its only a matter on time since he realizes why... and he will confess to Ishwari that day.

Of course it is zidd. It is now bordering on serious harmful obsession. Agar shaadi se pehle yeh haal hain toh baad ka kya hoga buddy??

I personally feel Dev can definitely sense it.

Yes, he looks lost , frustrated and tired ...a very messed up picture!! Sona will have to move out of his life . ONLY then Dev and even more his mom will understand Sona's value in her son's life. Now she is thinking that its Sona who is trying to take her son away but in reality it is her son who needs Sonakshi. She is now a part of him that he wont be able to let go.

Superb Post... Very well analysed by so many view points👏👏!!
Really true.. the contrast between Dev's family vis-a-vis Sona & Ranveer's family!! Ishwari is becoming too much ziddi and possessive in her unhealthy love for Dev...and worst thing except Neha no one has ever even recognized this part of her. Hopefully, the way neha is going positive, later on she will bring some light in her mother's head!!

Even though its too painful to watch Dev going through this phase, I think this is the only thing which can set Ishwari right ATM. May be we are wrong, I am not sure whether she will think of her son's happiness even after seeing him in pain also or she only thinks about her ego, pride, position & happiness that time too.

Wow this is superb👏👏
The parellels you pointed out are so true👍🏼 and well written by the CVs too😊
I so loved how RM talked to Neha about RV finally having some sense. . Poor Neha was quite defensive when she said that I don't want to be that Bahu who breaks apart her family, these values are given by Ishwari. .but RM speaks her heart to make her realise that physical distance doesn't matter and the newly married couple actually deserve some space.
So unlike Ishwari.
