😆 couldn't resist that one.

Mind flashed back to your FF reviews - which more often than not exceeded my chapter lengths. 😆

These reactions are not triggered by Sonakshi. They were always there. The mother and the sisters have enjoyed undivided attention and he has slogged his life to provide for them. Even Neha's irrational demand for an AC was met. He was ready to give away 30% of his property.

When selfless people decide to stand up for themselves they draw a line. The problem with Ishwari is she is scared of that line. If she is going to be within that circle or out. She also probably realises that Dev has never asked anything for himself. And if he does and she is not able to give then she has lost him forever.

Dev wants something for himself. Like I mentioned even a gola as a kid he has shared. But now to try and steal sometime for himself will seems like a crime and Ishwari is worried just about that.

Not just time for himself. He doesn't want to share Sonakshi with anyone as yet. As he has mentioned more than once, he wants to keep her all to himself. Kissi ke saath share nahi karna chahta. Tum meri ho. He has never had that before and now that he has it, he doesn't want to let go of the feeling as yet.

With Natasha she knew he didn't love her. The circle wasn't present., it wasn't defined.

With Sona he dreams of a life together. He claims the best part of his day is when he spends personal time with Sona while dropping her. Ishwari is the most important person in his life. But the reality is she is his responsibility. She won't help him share it.

While Sona helps to take care of his mom so he can steal a few moments for himself. She shares his responsibility.

And Ishwari does NOT want him to share that responsibility.

Ishwari's problem is she wants to be within Dev's boundary of personal space. DEV had no expectations till date so it didn't matter. But now Dev has began defining boundaries. The reality is she is a mother , she cannot a part of his personal circle.

She just has to accept it. There is no two ways about it.

She is going to fight tooth and nail until that happens. She is going to lash out at everyone including Dev and punish everyone including herself.

This one is like an abusive parent, where in most cases only one child is targeted. Here the obsessive love engulfs only Dev.

Well a Narcisstic mother always divide her children according to her needs and demands. She has a favorite one, the golden child- Dev and a neglected one, the scapegoat child - Neha. Dev got all the love and affection from his mother while Neha was ignored and left out. But now the situation has changed, Neha can have a normal life as it will be easy for her to break free from her mother. But for Dev, he is still his mother's puppet, she wants to have control of every situation relating to him. It is very difficult for him to get out from the cage as he is also very much attached to it. In the long run it is better to be a scapegoat child than a golden child because it is the golden child who is going to suffer the most. About the other two girls Ishwari does not even know if they exist, she barely interacts with them, and it was Neha who took care of them.

@bold 👏

I think Neha is going to be a good shoulder for Dev to lean on during the separation track.
