I am 100 percent sure she is a Narcissist. I googled about it long time ago, she has all the traits of a Narcissist mother. She is suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Your analysis is just excellent

I like that you've shown both Dev and Ishwari possessive in their love for each other yet Dev appreciates when his lover loves and cares for his mom while Ishwari hates anyone that cares for Dev she wants to be the only person that cares for him she wants him to always cling to her she wants him to be a workaholic they are out of their poverty yet Ishwari has managed to hold Dev in the past .

no doubt Ishwari is a wonderful mother but all her praises only goes to her son and that is the reason Neha threw tantrums before her marriage , she was not been acknowledged by her mother her efforts in growing her sisters were never spoken about .

Ishwari has always spoken about Dev getting a good girl and when Natasha was in the picture she had told him its only his decision at the end of the day and when he cancelled the Engagement she told him there must be a very good reason but she was not angry with him she believed in his judgement and decisions but now the fact that Dev is happy she cannot see this her heart her mind finds fault in Sonakshi its almost as if Dev been happy will drive the family back into poverty

But that is limited to Dev. Not all her children, right?? A complete Narcissist would show no exceptions.

This one is like an abusive parent, where in most cases only one child is targeted. Here the obsessive love engulfs only Dev.
