Little more Passion and Intimacy.....

Hi guys,

While some of us are okay and some not with the current track / episodes, I kinda felt something missing for quite some time.

In the initial episodes, the oomph factor was the tashan between Dev and Sona. Now obviously they love each other and it would be difficult to get in the tashan. But if we all love this show for how natural and relatable it is...Is it wrong to show Passion and Intimacy between Dev and Sona. They are a couple of this day and age and the CVs are showing all factors of a relationship then why not Passion and Intimacy. Ofcourse the Channel, Production house and CVs have gives us some of the most romantic and best shot scenes ever like the Dream sequence in Dev's garden, Dev's love confession to Sona, Dev admiring Sona in Piku look and many more.
So why hesitate to show some more passion and intimacy but ofcourse in the most beautiful way ever.

Today, I did send a tweet to Mamta Mam abt this. Hope she reads it.

Please feel free to share your thoughts.

well what do you expect from them?
should they start to show their passion in dev's room jaha koi bhi kabhi bhi aajata hai!
yaha to dono ko koi sirf baat karte hue bhi dekhta hai to death glares nikalte hai unki aankhon se

Passion in Dev's room can be left for after their marriage.

What I meant is it is very natural for 2 adults in love to be physically attracted to each other and that can be shown say when Dev drives Sona home or when no one around or a date or I guess CVs know better.

Like for e.g Sona watching Dev exercise in the initial episodes and now. Dev talking to Sona about seeing him shirtless. So i am sure CVs would know how to incorporate that too.

Also, if you listen to Erica's interview on Drivetime, she said that they do only to the extent the channel, director and show asks them to. Basically meaning that they would not mind doing such scenes if the script mentions it.

I agree to you on this.
This is the only thing that i feel is missing.
It has been quite a time now that Dev and Sona have been together.
It may have looked a little odd in the very initial time of their relationship.
But i think now, both of them are very comfortable with each other.
They've shared the happy and sad moments together.
Dancing in rain or crying after your sister's marriage, these emotions have been portrayed very beautifully. So they've already got an emotional connect.
I think there should be definitely some intimacy between them.
N there is nothing bad about it yaar.
I mean cmon they aren't kids. N nowadays even kids are no less.
They are two mature and independent individuals and the CV'S should show atleast some kind of passion n intimacy between them.

I think Dev is taking it slow as he respects his lady and she needs to be comfortable. If you see Sonakshi's character she seemed to be shy even to say " when we fell in love ".,,and his response was when you are not shy to fall in love then why feeling shy to say it!!...She seems very reserved too..
Also the other thing he has not told anyone abt his relationship with her , he is hiding it ..so that means there is something abt this relationship that he is not sure of because of which he is still not ready to accept her as his in front of the world. In that case a man like Dev will not get physically close .

I think Dev is completely sure of his relationship with Sona. I feel she is like his guilty pleasure. And he does not want to share the relation with all because then their relation gets kinda overpowered by other relations like his sisters' bonding or relation with Sona and his mother's . Then his relation with family.

I think like they said in 1 of the previous episodes he wants her just for himself. I guess for a boy who has had a rough childhood...nothing like what other kids have had. and he's always been a giving person especially towards his family. he never thought of his own needs until he fell in love with Sona.

Understood you POV. But I still feel after his mom spoke abt her as an outsider , there is some amount of doubt that has gone into his thoughts. True to the fact that he cant keep himself away from her but he is lacking the clarity to take a decision. The clarity that he had to take a decision of cancelling his engagement with Natasha and confessing his love for Sonakshi... is missing when it comes to accepting her as his in front of the world.

Even though I support him taking time. But you nailed it. The clarity seems to be missing. He is letting Ishwari's words influence him. Specially the baharwali comment

That I am not able to understand. Why someone like Dev who has been so sure of what he wants doesn't have the clarity. Is he already suspecting Ishwari's reaction. Or when she mentioned baharwali was his reaction an preemption of what is going to come.
