I also couldn't help but relate that scene with what we could get to see in future. Dev didn't stop Sona and let her go, having full faith that she won't leave him. And she didn't. In one of the recent episodes Sonakshi even tells Dev that she won't let go of him even if he let goes off her. Now if such will be the scenario in future then that's really unfair to Sona :( But then again as Ishwari told Dev the other day, relationships are complicated. Sonakshi knows how much Dev loves her and how much she loves him..she won't easily give up. The problem here is that Ishwari's insecurities are deep rooted to the point of coming across as disturbing and I doubt if there can ever be an end to such insecurities. Perhaps love and understanding can help her. But that can also only come at the expense of Dev and Sonkashi's relationship and a long wait.

Very true...a lot of times, mothers tend to compete with their bahu for their son's love.What I don't understand is, both love is different. Why can't Ishwari understand that...Has she forgotten her times with her husband and her saas...

Girls, I have a different viewpoint on this. I don't blame ishwari for acting the way she is doing now. It's not easy to accept that a son who used to not do anything without asking her, that very same son doing otherwise . It's easy to say all big big things but when it comes to practicality then human emotions do take over . We are mere human beings not God. Why cld Dev not go and tell his mom that he loves Sona ? Why did she have to find this way that for everything that h said NO to her, those very same things he is doing because Sona is asking him to do so ...had he gone to his mom and told her that he has fallen in love with the nutritionist then maybe things wld have been different . Let's face it, he has ignored his mom to some extent aft falling in love . Anyway, we all know from spoilers that Ishwari does accept Dev and Sona so chill. But I am disappointed with Dev as a son. No offence to anyone but this is how I feel.

Trust me Ishwari will not change so easily, she will remain the same possessive mom even if Dev tells her that he loves Sona, it will be difficult for her to say NO because she don't want to damage her saintly image in front of him, but I am sure there will be a hidden motives behind the acceptance. Believe me Ishwari maa is not an easy person to deal with, she has two faces.
