Well Mamaji is not as pretty as Sona...😆 so it wouldnt have worked!

Its like this, when sometimes our own family says, it does not go into our head...but a girlfriend or boyfriend says the same thing...you look at it in a different angle. And Sona way of explaining things are soothing and she makes lots of sense...and he analyse and arrive at his own conclusion

In movies it's the hero who saves the day. In TV shows it's the heroine. At least in movies we are seeing an occasional change from the stereotypes. Hopefully TV shows will mature and adapt it as well.

Ok I exhausted my 20 posts yesterday and could not respond to this... So starting again today...
I am a persuader like Sona and you have become my latest subject ... lol...

ok here is my take ... Sona is problem solver/persuader etc... when she sees a problem she cant just let it be and she will pursue it until either someone tells her to shutup and mind her business or succeeds...

like yesterday Dev told her to shutup -- so she backed off . Dev thought about it later and took decision himself...

Coming back to the point where in TV shows the FL becomes the savior.. etc... yes two points to note
1. Girls are always right (almost) aur sachhi baat manne mein kaisi sharam... just that women thing in multiple directions where as Man thinks in a single direction and fail to understand diff POVs.

2. in typical seriels, the FL would have taken the initiative, hidden the talks from ML and would have gotten herself into mess ... there would be misunderstanding between ML and FL ... then eventually bang... one day everyone realizes that FL went thru so many insults and saved the day... There she becomes Mahaaan... then the same thing repeats in other situation... this is how it is...

But in this show it is not that case... Sona just puts out her POV and doesn't force or say Mahan dialogues... she just puts her views in the front of the person... eventually the person takes decision with out being forced...

Also to Note, one of Sonas major success (lehenga story). she explained Dev that he should think before making decision. She did not tell him what is right thing to do until the next day...
NExt day, she did not volunteer to talk to Neha...(if it was a clichd story FL would have gone and talked to the person behind the back of ML)... Here Dev asked her to talk and she initially said No but she agree to give it a try...
again she did not think she will succeed... she was just trying... if Neha had told her to back off . she would have and left her...

ok there I said it phew... you go now :)

When we talk with our life patners we talk openly and we doesnt care much abt how the other react for time being if we hurt them then we realise and say sorry or try our effort in mending our mistake done. Here dev and sona are ready to take their relationship furture and lead a married life. If same situation is handled by mamaji he would not react in the same way as with sona he would control his emotions to give respect to the elderly people. In pratical if we discuss a topic with elders we try to not to hurt them with our words and leave the discussion without arguing.and if the same topic is shared with our frends or with the people whom we like we try to give explanation and reason behind our thought..same was with dev.sona was his gf and he gave his reason behind for not bowing his head infront of god..the same he would not have done with mamaji

She just have her point of view. It was on dev to accept it or not. Already ishwari is so harsh to her atleast I can't read any negative comment on her.
