Why Ishwari Not Like Sonakshi

Because Ishwari thinks she is the only woman in Dev's life. Period. No one else can come in between, not even her daughters.

As we know she admires Sona alot, ishwari knows that Sona is a very nice girl but what is bothering her is someone taking a very prominent place in Dev's life, so important that she is even influencing his decisions in some or the other way.

She is too much possessive of her son and is finding it difficult to handle a woman who is somehow taking an equivalent place to her.

She doesn't really "dislikes" Sona but isn't happy with the way sona is making an important part of Dev's life.

Like Ishwari said in 100th episode when she was confronting Sona. : mein jaanti hu tera dil bahut saaf hai aur tu jo bhi kahegi kisiki bhalayi keliye kahegi" but she doesn't like someone to come between Dev and her.

she was kind of OK with Natasha as she knew Dev did not love her and he was moving fwd only for the business deal. Then she was sure that no matter what Natasha will never replace her in Dev's heart (like taking suggestions, agreeing to everything she says, sharing everything with her, caring for her like god).

But here with Sona is different. Sona is gradually replacing Ishwari's position in Dev's heart. Now Dev feels Ishwari is only her responsibility and he should take care of her and keep her happy all the time.
But, Sharing issues and asking for suggestions and listening to stuff - he started moving towards Sona.

This is what will irk ishwari and she would not like it.

Ishwari thinks very high of Sona. She know she is a very good girl and anyone would be lucky to have her as DIL. But not at the cost of her coming between her and her dear Dev babu

it is obvious from the initial episodes when she said she doesnt want a rose plant but wants a tulsi plant in ths house. she said she will choose the daughter in law. It is obvious that when she chooses a girl, she will find someone who will be a doormat type. Who will not come between her and her son. Who doesnt have her own mind and will blindly following what ever Ishwari says. That way she will get two puppets (dev and the girl) in place of dev.
