Hi guys! It is my second OS on Devakshi! I am not an experienced writer...this is just a piece which explores an aspect of their relationship which is not yet touched by the show. Hope you guys like it!

Neha's wedding vows were going on. Amidst the continuous chanting of mantras by the pandit, 2 lovebirds were completely lost in each other. No, they were not the couple who were marrying at the altar, they were the ones who were saying those vows in their mind and had surrendered themselves to each other. Dev and Sonakshi, with their fingers interlocked, had already considered each other as their soulmates, inseparable for the next 7 births.
A few days after the entire marriage programme had ended, Dev finally found a bit of time to spend with Sona. He had been so busy, seeing off all the guests who had attended the wedding and Neha had also come home for the pag phera ritual, that he hardly could talk to her. She didn't complain either, as she knew dev had his own responsibilities to complete. She was content seeing dev happy, whose face had a permanent smile plastered on his face thinking about Neha's happiness.
However, as soon as he was free from his duties, he wanted to spend some time with his lady love, who supported him unconditionally throughout the entire wedding. He was stuck on many instances where he had to choose his sister's happiness and his mother's commands, and it was Sona who had helped him sail through the rough seas easily. She had already considered his family as his own, despite the fact that his mami never left any chance to ridicule her, she never argued with her. He decided to plan a surprise for Sona and had instructed her to finish all the work by 8 pm so that they can leave then. Hearing this, Sonakshi was very curious about what her Mr. Aubodhro' was upto.
The clock struck 8 and Sona's eyes were eagerly waiting for her prince charming to arrive. His car came soon after, but he was not in it. Instead, he had sent his driver to pick up Sona and bring her to him. The driver had strict orders of not answering any of Sona's questions. Sona was still not able to figure out what was going on around her.
After a while, the car stopped near a park. The driver escorted Sonakshi to the gate of the park. She was trying to find dev, but instead she saw a guy wearing a smart t-shirt and jeans with sneakers, facing his back towards her, in this almost empty and dark park. The guy turned back, and Sonakshi could not believe her eyes! It was dev, who had dressed to impress his girl. Sonakshi was so happy to see him in this avatar that she ran and hugged him tightly.
Sona: Dev...aap ne toh mujhe itna bada surprise de diya...aap aise bahut acche lagte ho. Yeh to main kabhi expect bhi nahi kar sakti thi!
Dev: Shhh...Sonakshi...aap hamesha mere liye aur mere parivar ke liye itna sab kuch kara...without expecting anything in return. Tabhi main aaj aap ke liye kuch karna chahta tha..jisse main mr. oubhodro se aapka pyara mr. bunny ban jao.
Sona; Dev! Maine kaha than a ki jab aapne apni ife mere saath share kari hai..toh aapka parivar bhi mera ho gaya hai...aur apne parivar ka khayal rakhne ke liye koi thank you bolta hai kya?
Dev was so touched by Sona's words that he immediately captured her in a tight hug. His love for sonakshi increased leaps and bounds whenever she said things like this. She loved him unconditionally, and it was evident in her eyes.
They parted from the hug and Dev took Sona's hand into his and guided her behind a tree. Beneath the tree, there were cushions and carpets laid. Both of them laid down on the carpet and gazed at the night sky above them. Their hands were still together.
Dev: Waise...Dr. Bose...aapke mujhse pyar kab hua?
Sona: Sonakshi se siddha Dr. Bose? Jab main aapko dr. bose kehne ke liye bolti thi toh aap mujhe ms. Bose bulate the. Dev...it's Sona for you.
Dev: Mujhe toh yeh nahi samajh aa raha ki aap mere se pyaar kaise karne lagi jab ki maine aapke saath itna bura kiya: aapki job le li, aapko mere ghar pe kaam karne ke liye force kara, aur hum bahut ladhte bhi the!
Sona: mujhe bhi exactly nahi pata ki kab pyaar hua mujhe aapse...shayad accident ke time par..jab maine aapka mere liye itna concern dekh kar mujhe bahut accha laga...aisa laga jaise aap hi who prince charming ho jiske liye main itne time se wait kar rahi thi.
Sona: mujhe humesha se pata tha ki mr. oubhodro ke peeche ek bahut caring and loving person chupa hua hai...jiske dil mein emotions bhi hain...aur mujhe yeh lagta hai ki aapki emotional side mere alava kisi ne nahi dekhi...i have seen you laugh your heart out unlike your sisters, I have seen you cry, despite the fact that you were trying to hide it from your family. You started sharing things with me...and so I got to know you better.
Dev; aapne mujhse pehle apne pyar ka izhaar kyun nahi kara?
Sona: Dev...maine kitni baar koshish kari accident ke baad aapko apne mann ki baat batane mein...par main nahi bata payi. Aapko yaad hain ki accident ke baad aap mujhse putchte the,'Ms. Bose...aap aaj kal kuch ajeeb sa behave kar rahi hai...kuch kehna chahti hein par kehti nahi hai...aur aaj kal aap bahut zyada girne lagi hai'. Woh sab isliye tha kyoki I was lost in loving you and was too nervous to confess to you about my feelings.
Maine aapko restaurant mein bhi bulaya tha isliye jise I can tell you how much I love you...but jab tak kehne ki baari aayi...Mr. Gujral and Natasha aa gaye the waha par. Uske baad, Natasha aap ke saath time spend karne lagi..aur baat aap dono ke rishte tak pahuch gayi. Un dino mein bahut royi hoon Dev...kyuki main aapko kisi aur ke saath nahi dekh paati thi.
(Sona's eyes started becoming watery and she stood up)
Mujhe nahi lagta tha ki aapke mann mein mere liye koi bhi feelings hain toh maine socha ki main aapko bhuladungi...but it was not possible as I had to stay infront of you in your house the entire day...mostly seeing you with Natasha. It used to pain my heart a lot. During your engagement, I took a 2-day leave as I could not see you becoming someone else's and I had lost all hope of being with you...until you surprised me by landing on my door after cancelling your engagement. That was the best day of my life Dev!
Dev: (in tears) Mujhe nahi pata tha ki aap mujhse itna zyada pyar karti hain sonakshi. Maine aapko itna dard diya hain aur aap itna royi hain because of me. I feel so disgusted by myself! How could I not see the immense love for me in your eyes? I am soo stupid! I feel like slapping myself hard!
Sonakshi: Dev...stop it!
She grabs his hand and merges her lips with his lips. Dev is so surprised by the turn of events...but as soon as Sona's lips touch his...all his worries disappear. He clasps her waist tightly and pulls her towards himself. Sonakshi pulled Dev even closer, almost to comfort him. They withdrew, panting for breath.
Dev: I love you Sonakshi! More than my life. I cannot imagine life without you. You complete me!
Sona: And you complete me Dev!
With this, they again kissed passionately, as if to make up for the times they had spent without each other and hurting each other.
