All I could see in yesterday's episode was Dev & Sona abiding to the promises they made to each other silently during Ranveer & Neha's wedding. Without saying a word they understood each other so well. This where Dev & Sona stands out.

He was missing his sister & he was slowly sinking into that huge void in him. Sona understood the turmoil he was going through & she urged him to share what he was feeling. He doesn't say anything & she begins to leave. Loved that she didn't pester him at all & she was going to give him his space to deal with his feelings. He then holds her hand while she was walking away (can't get enough of this gesture of theirs...whenever this happens I feel as if we're gonna get something more than we asked for from the episode & we sure did). He tells her that he was never there around Neha & now when she wasn't near him he was missing her. She tells him to open up & let his feelings talk and she says, "Agar aap muhjse nahi kahenge, mere hone ka kya fayada? The way he brushed her tear away was so beautiful... They looked & behaved like a married couple. Sigh!! Loved how she held his hand...kept cajoling him, consoling him & pacifying him. He admits to fact that he was self centered & engrossed in his own love life that he didn't have the time for his sister & he hated this fact. Hated that he knew deep down he was right...! Phew..when he was telling this I couldn't believe my ears. Because this is exactly how you are when you're in a relationship. You tend to loose track of things... unknowingly. And then comes a phase when you realize on what you've lost out on. Felt too real. He & Neha together picked up this family together & have come this far. As children both of them have seen struggles way much more than normal happy children. He felt he didn't spend enough time with her (then & now) like any other brother because he was robbed of time then. Those pent up feelings that he'd repressed all those years finally came out when Neha went away from his house. I know she's not gone forever. But you begin to realize the small small things that you shared with her & you get way to emotional. Sona knew Dev was feeling guilty & she wanted to share that guilt too. She tells him that he is the best brother that Neha could have. She tells him that Neha is very happy & he's done everything to keep her happy so far.. She reminds him that he'd even fought with his mother for her. Loved the kind of support she was giving him when he needed it the most. This emotional bond that they share is too strong a bond. They depend on each other. And I could see them already fulfilling the promises they had made. The promise to be his strength and stand by him in all tough and turbulent times was clearly seen. Another promise they fulfilled was subtly & beautifully presented. How Sona says I'm still your friend. And he accepts her as his best friend & shares everything with her. This is what a relationship is all about, the trust, the understanding, the strength, the love, the sharing etc... These two are gonna get stronger. Situations might strain this bond but it won't break them. How I wish Ishwari could see this beauty in them & feel proud rather than feeling insecure. Any mother would love to see her son thriving in this kind of compassionate relationship.

Shaheer...shaheer.. You were brilliant (Period) and Erica you were outstanding!! And both of them together gave us something so very beautiful to remember. It was pure & honest. And finally a bow down to the makers again!! 👏

Hey dear...great post...! 👏 Loved it to the bits...!
Last night Dev- Sonakshi scene was the most intense and beautiful scene I have ever experienced in Indian tv. This scene could not be done better than this. So simple yet yearning scene. The transformation of Sonakshi from a lover to a mature soulmate was shown really beautiful! Glad CV's gave us another power packed beautiful scene.
