Hello guys, I am new to this forum but a crazyy Devakshian.
I don't know how is it so do let me know from your reviews whether its good or bad.This is my first try at it so please do ignore any grammatical errors or bloopers.
DEVAKSHI OS: THE HELPLESS MR.DIXIT
There he was, Mr. Dev Dixit, the young achiever, standing under the window of his girlfriend's room, and looking like a lost puppy while wondering how to get there. While she had no idea that her Mr. Aubhodro can even come up with something like this. He who had never ever seen a romantic movie, and had brilliantly thought DDLJ to be an action film as it had a fighting sequence in the last few minutes of it, is not even close to romantic, cannot be expected to be searching for ways to meet his love. But then there he was. Surprising as always. But after all she always wanted to live her love story and he wanted to give her the best of himself. So here he was to give her a lovely surprise, or rather to give a shock of her life(seeing him go all romeo-types in love)
She was peacefully sleeping while he was constantly struggling as to which pipe should he chose to climb up. "Oh goddd! Why it has to be so difficult? Ok fine. I chose you" he says to one of the pipes. And starts climbing. He has great difficulty while climbing as it has become slippery due to the rains. He struggles with reaching up to somewhat quarter distance only to realize..."What the hell?!. Aren't they supposed to fix a complete pipeline and not half of it?!", he vents out in frustration. He does not realize that the pipe which he is holding onto is not so reliable. It suddenly strikes him that he needs to get down before the entire pipeline breaks. Not to forget, there is always someone to bring you down. But his case is different. He starts taking slow steps downwards, when he hears the sound of barking. And there. He sees a dog barking his life out. "You were the only one left.", says a frustrated Dev. "Why can't just someone let me surprise my girlfriend peacefully?!" He does not understand how to get down. As the pipe on which he was climbing was only halfway up to her room, and then it penetrates in the wall. He starts looking around to come up with an idea in order to reach her room. He had to think of a way in order to shoo the dog away before he wakes up the neighbourhood. But the constant barking was making it all the more difficult to think about anything but a way to make him leave, let alone reach her room. "Hey buddy, CAN'T YOU JUST STOP BARKING YOUR LIFE OUT FOR GOD'S SAKE?! I AM ALREADY NOT ABLE TO GO UP, AND WITH YOU THERE, I CAN NEITHER GO DOWN. I CAME HERE TO GIVE HER A LOVELY SURPRISE AND NOT HORRIFY HER WITH MY HORRIBLE APPERANCE. CAN'T YOU JUST GIVE ME A BREAK MAN!" he shouts.
I have completely lost it. Talking to a dog while holding onto a pipe, and explaining him my lovely surprise, and on top of that expecting him to understand these boyfriend-girlfriend situations and the need to surprise your girlfriend once in a while, were the signs of losing your sanity. His flow of thoughts was broken by a sudden sound of creaking. Creakkk was the last thing he could hear, as he did not even have the time to look where it came from. And it did not even matter as he was already down on his bum. He did not utter anything as he slowly became aware of his surroundings. And then, "OWWW", he cried when he realized that he had fallen off that stupid pipe and that too straight on his bum. He was having the worst time of his life, he had thought. But he was wrong. And it did not take time for him to realize that, as he was suddenly choking due to the force with which the water came onto his face. Yes. The pipe, which he was holding onto for his life, was the one to betray him. Then realization struck him, that he had broken their pipe and the water was flowing out like hell. This was it. He was in an awkward position under his girlfriend's window, with a dog barking his head off while he was having a sewage shower at this time of night. Wow! Quite an adventure Mr.Dixit. He couldn't come up with something worse...he thought again.
"Dev???" He sighed. What more do you want than your girlfriend seeing you in your worst possible attire where you look like a zombie, that too under her own room's window. What a loser you are Dev', he thinks to himself. Suddenly he hears the sound of her endearing laugh. There she was! All perfect. Just woken from sleep and yet ethereal. And look at me. Is there any match? Of course not. She was looking so adorable while laughing at my state. I couldn't help but smile at my failed attempts which made her smile. A smile that reached her eyes. A smile for which I am ready to fall for any number of times. She had her charm! She finally realizing my state, came to help me up. But her laughs did not stop. "What were you exactly trying to do Mr.Dixit?", she managed to say between her giggles. I hung my head unable to face my defeat in such a small thing. How hard is it to climb a pipe?! "I wished to surprise you and so I was climbing this stupid half-pipe, and then there was this dog barking constantly in my damn ears, because of which I was neither able to reach your room nor come down. And then this silly pipe gave away and I fell only to realize that the pipe is now broken because of me. Sorry for terrifying you but this was not the way I wanted you to see me. But now anyways, I am sorry for not being able to be your perfect dream boy who climb their girlfriend's window in split seconds, as they show in movies.", he cribbed.
She just couldn't stop adoring his cute attempts in making her feel special but hopelessly failing at it and then complaining it to her itself. Now that is something which she was surprised with. Her man had the innocence of accepting his failures in front of her. What would a girl wish for more, that her man shares each and every feeling of his heart with her and does not cover-up in order to save himself from the embarrassment. Unable to control her blush she helps him get up and takes him home so that he can freshen up and change before someone sees him in this way. "Ouchh", she startles hearing his sudden cry of pain. "Its hurting.", he admits honestly. She feels sorry and immense love for him at the same time. His efforts were what mattered most. Irrespective of its result. He tried to give her surprise, but failed at it, but still he managed to bring a smile on her face. They reached the house while giggling remembering the scene of a while ago while silently in their heart they were going to cherish it forever.
