If Neha had abided by the sayings of Ishwari and Dev, she would've never been happy. What Ishwari was saying was really good, but its not everyone's cup of tea as i feel. Not everyone can be that selfless and I don't feel its wrong. Its just different.
Many people can live with only love which is somewhat less practical and others need both love and money.
So I somewhat felt if Neha had accepted Ranveer without him accepting the job, she would never have been happy and blamed Dev and Ishwari for her life.

What do you guys think? Its entirely my opinion with no intention to hurt anyone...

I totally agree with you, because Neha had every reason to fight for her needs as she have had a bad and sacrificing childhood and its absolutely correct for her to demand for a stable and fulfilled life which Dev understood. Neha had seen a life of scarcity and she doesn't want to live that life again. Ishwari Ji wanted Neha to adjust and even if she would have finally accepted it she would not be satisfied ever as Ranveer just doesn't wanna grow... I mean now he agreed but at that moment if Neha had agreed he might not have changed. Neha had accepted Ranveer's status and had loved him, but she had planned a future with him with the hope that he'll grow for her, which apparently he was not doing.

^^ Exactly she would've never been happy even if she had been with Ranveer.

Agree with you!!

It sounds harsh or maybe selfish but to be practical you need both love and money, Only love won't feed you or your family. Neha has seen a lot in her childhood but I feel she is the only one practical and realistic here.

Cannot agree with you more...
In my opinion it is absolutely right to not to be selfless..in fact it is the demand of today's world to not to be selfless...I m not saying that everyone should be selfish, there is a vast difference be selfish and not to be selfless...
Neha is absolutely correct in her place, what's the harm in it if she doesn't want to return to the same state she was before...
Well no body wants to be demoted back..

I agree with you that Neha needs both love and money but I also feel that she needs to realise and figure out whats more important for her. This time Ranveer accepted the job, he bent down but that cannot be the case every single time. I know he loves her and she loves him, and maybe Ranveer will always bend down for her, always listen to what she says but I personally believe thats not a sign for a very healthy relationship.
Neha is not wrong in wanting both, and I understand that she does not want to live a life where there are money issues and does not want to sacrifice because she has done that her entire life but in a relationship, especially in marriage, sacrifices are necessary, and it is not possible to escape those so I really hope that Neha realises that more than money, love is important. I think for her that can only happen once she starts living with Ranveer!
