How is it possible that every day, I'm at loss for words after I watch Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi??Guess it's the same case with everybody else here on the forum.
Just a small peek into the confession episode, Dev's confession somehow reminded me of Mr. Darcy's dialogue, from Pride & Prejudice. Well the situations are different, but couldn't help mentioning it here:
"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
And that's exactly what Dev did. They did start off on the wrong foot. But Sona, when she began to see Dev in a new light, her notions about him completely changed. And for Dev, it did take a bit longer to realize his love for her. Once, he'd figured it out, he cleared out the mess that he was in & not waiting for a moment longer he expressed his love. He took her through his past struggles & professed his love for her. Have to quote this, "Like a man love a woman"! Sigh!
Coming back to yesterday's episode, I saw a stark contrast between Sona & Dev. It was like Sona had taken a step back or she was just being herself & Dev was a different person all together. Where did that rude, arrogant man go?
We didn't get to see Sona confessing her love for him. I guess our predictions & expectations may not always match with the writers ;) Well, the element of surprise is always there. So I'm not complaining.
The moment she got down from the car, I was waiting for Sona to break into a crazy dance. I was so happy she finally did it. I loved the way she kept saying, "He loves me, he loves me, he loves me." She couldn't believe it was truly happening to her. It felt like a dream. That joy on her face was so satisfying. After all the lows that she'd been through, she needed to be this happy. She deserved it. Well, Dev was her happiness. I was very sure she wouldn't dance in front of Dev, at least for now. Knowing Sona, she always needed her space first. She wanted to slowly embrace what had just happened & let the feeling sink into her. Erica was beautiful. She was class apart. Having said that, I'm looking forward to her opening up to Dev. She's still holding back a little but I guess it's just the initial shock & excitement.
Another thing that I'd like to point out is, I was so glad that she didn't share this big news with Elena & her brother. The moment she walked into her room, I was like... No, no, not Elena, not today. She wanted to keep this feeling all to herself, till she was ready to share. That is love! It's sometimes so personal. According to me, love is never a selfless act. You end up being selfish. How much ever close you are to your siblings, there always a line that you draw to keep certain things to yourself. She would tell Elena, but today belonged to her only. She wanted to cherish the beauty of Dev being in love with her all by herself.
Sona didn't want to sound too clingy or too aloof while messaging him & ended up sending only one letter. Well, she does have the habit of doing that ;) Doesn't she?? That longing in her eyes to see Dev was seen when she looked up to see the time. She couldn't control the anticipation to meet him again. As it was the very first thing he'd asked her to do when she came home. And on the other side, we had Dev immersed in love, humming away to glory.
Loved how she suddenly found his name, Mr. Dixit very boring. The expression of wonderment on her face when she says "he's my boyfriend," was super adorable. She looks too cute when she does a jiggle wiggle whenever she's happy. It was so difficult for Sona & Dev to behave normally, after what had happened between them the previous night. Their feelings were all going out of control when she addressed him as "Dev" & when he'd addressed her as "Sonakshi." Her name sounds so beautiful whenever Dev says it. Guess they'll have to come up with some sort of code language now. Nikki & Khichu bhaiya's reactions were classic. Looking at the way Dev & Sona are behaving, it looks like things are going to come out in the open very soon.
Dev...was a complete surprise package to all of us, even for Sona. The scenes between them was heart-racing, exciting, incredible...Uff... I'd had goose bumps all over. This love has transformed Dev into a total new person. The dialogues between then were mesmerizing.
"Mein tumse dhoor nahi jana chahatha, aur tume mujhse dhoor jane nahi dhoonga"
"Lekin tumse pehle aaj thak, mein apne liye kisi cheez ko chaha hi nahi, I need you for myself"
To love is to want to own. He needed her beside him all the time. You can never really own someone fully, so that is why we try to have that person in every other possible way. He wanted that, but love being complicated, that's simply not possible. You want to breathe the very same air the other person breathes. Their chemistry was top-notch. "I need you", Dev was blatantly honest here. It's this brutal sincerity in him which is the cherry on top of the cake. He just says what he feels. There's no dilly dallying. This is the way he knows how to love her, with intensity & passion. There isn't any other way. He completely bares his soul to her. I wonder how Sona takes in all these things... I would be lying down somewhere drop dead!
"I need to know everything, Kuch nahi jaanta main aapke baare mein"
How to they come up with these dialogues?? I want to cry! Dev wants to know everything about her, her likes, her dislikes, her thoughts, her past, the way she sees the world. He wants to be a part of her. The extremity is which he's craving for her love is mind blowing, sizzling & scary. There's desperation & hunger in his voice. Sigh! Sigh! Let me rest in peace! And Sona is in awe. She's speechless, that this is the same man whom she loves. She's at loss for words because she's experiencing a different side of Dev altogether. Where did that rude, arrogant man go??
They were lost in each other's eyes, trying to find out their inner deep emotions & their hidden thoughts. Just like the saying eyes are the windows to the soul. Their eyes were doing all the talking. I loved that song that was playing in the background. The way they were embracing their love for each other was so beautiful. Jumping & dancing with joy. And in the last scene, Dev was absolutely cheeky. He approaches her, like an animal approaching it's prey. Poor Sona stood there rooted. She didn't know how to react when he leaned across to get a carrot. Poor girl! Get ready to face more such situations! Dev looked so hawt eating that silly vegetable!
Oh man! These two are mentally exhausting, I say! Phew!!
