Dev, Samjho... It's a Simple Answer!

Just watched todays episode and the first scene itself was absolutely fantabulous!!
Gareeb ki Beti was rebuffed by Dev and he personally helped Sona in front of the whole family without thinking much about what everyone else will think of his personalized care!!
He put the lotion on Sona's hands and gently slide the ring off and when he saw her leave in a hurry, he followed her to the kitchen to check on her once again and see if she was alright.
Mamii the evil eye who misses nothing, saw everything and had an almost heart attack watching the scene unfold in front of her. (I do wonder why she does not say anything to Ishwari about Dactarni and Dev's equation)
And probably this is the reason why Dev has not yet caught on to his attraction towards Sona. His family- his mom and sisters are so casual and nonchalant about his concerns for Sona as if it is okay for the Boss and their son to give so much personal attention to Sona.
And so even he is cool on that front- Sona is his friend, he likes her, he enjoys her company and loves to talk to her and unburden his inner thoughts and concerns to her but no one ever questioned him why he spends so much time thinking about her or goes searching for her just to talk with her!?!
Well, Right now Dev does not want to marry/get engaged to Natasha but no one is questioning it with a counter question about why he is not ready. Is it because of someone else like Sona, maybe??
And that could get the ball rolling but Dev is still in this friend/comfort zone. He likes Sona as a friend but he also enjoys being close to her as a member of the opposite sex and we all know what that really means. Don't we? Don't we?
Of coz Dev has to be attracted to her! When he is in Sona's presence he has a certain glow and shine around him. His pupils are dilated and that is a proven study which claims its due to sexual attraction and appeal for an object of desire. 😳
All the care, concern and feeling of responsibility towards someone does come with extra extra baggage of attraction... ermm in other words desires. (Hello Dev!!)
Dev needs that extra push to see that. We had Neel there to nudge him but that lasted only for a day.
And now the Natasha and the engagement chapter is back to itch on us once again.
Well, its time for Dev to explore his feelings without any jealousy track and that is a good thing in itself. But he is getting too comfy with Sona always at his disposal... Like always... Nutrition serving Dev his heartburn medicine... LITERALLY!!!! 🤔
And Mi Lord, that is why he has such delayed reactions.
He has never been forced to think about this question... Why Dev... Why Sona??
Why are you babysitting, while the baker bakes?
Why are you awake in the hospital while her family sleeps?
Why you don't want her to have a boyfriend when you are almost getting engaged?
Why are you humming a Bengali Love song when you don't even know the language?
Why are you calling her for permission if you want to sneak a sleeping pill for one night?
Why are you massaging her finger to take off a ring that got stuck in her dainty fingers when there are four other ladies who could have helped her?
And why did you slip that ring on her finger without a second thought to it when it's suppose to be a trial engagement ring that she could have done herself or could have just refused to try on?
So many questions and for you (as well as us) there is possibly only one favorable answer to all of them?
Dev Babu you care so much about Sona.
Dev Babu you cant see Sona with anyone else.
Dev babu you are so comfortable with Sona that you act like her shadow, literally.
Dev Babu isn't it time you send some questions your way and give us the simple answer relieve us of the misery... give us the sweet reward for being so patient for just tooo long (Okay now get on the top of the terrace and Shout) ...
