It was her last day in the Dixit Mansion.Her three months were completed in a blink.She couldn't believe that the Dixits whom she used to dislike much became a second family to her, she cannot help but feel sad at the thought of leaving them most importantly, him.It saddened her to the core.
Nikki and Riya were planning a small farewell for her ,even Ishwari was contributing in it.But Dev, he was missing from scene.It was like he didn't want to be a part of it.
"Sona Di. we will miss you"
Nikki said as Sona cut her farewell cake.
"I am not going forever,i will come to see you all"
She tried to cheer them but all in vain.
"Dev ,where is he??"
She asked,a hope to see her Dev still in her heart.
"He didn't came"
Ishwari's sad voice answered her.
She should have known it,Dev wouldn't come.He still thinks her as his best friend completely unaware of her feelings.
She walked towards the main door ,biding goodbye to everyone.Dev stood at the entrance, shocked to see her leaving this soon.
"Miss Bose, you're leaving without even meeting me"
He felt disappointed, she cannot even wait for him.He on the other hand was feeljng restless .
"What do you mean,Mr.Dixit.It was you,who was late"
She felt angry At first he was late and now he is accusing her.It was her last chance to confess her true feelings for him.
"Uh huh Sorry Ms.Bose.Don't be mad at me"
He offered peace.He guessed something was completely off about her.
"What happened??"
,She has taken her decision, it was her last chance and she won't let it go wasted.She was ready to disclose her feelings for him.
"ummDev, believe me when i say this, i used to hate you and your arrogance.You made me loose my job but our equation in these 3 moths have changed a lot.I don't know what changed but one thing about which i am sure is i don't hate you anymore.On contrary i may like you.You are always on my mind, every single second i think about you.May be this is love"
She said in one breath.Her eyes closed,she was afraid to see his reaction.Slowly ,few minutes passed but he hadn't uttered a single word.She opened her eyes only to see him stood frozen.It didn't take a genius to understand that he was surprised more of a shocked.She looked at his horrified reaction and went away from there,thinking
. he. doesn't reciprocate her feelings.Tears welled up in her eyes.
