We can feel every emotion Dev felt through out the Episode.the actor conveyed every feeling with great precision, clarity and excellence. That is why we all are able to connect to him, grasp every subtle line of thought that crosses his mind. His body language is magnificent. His dialogue delivery, the pitch of the tone, the modulation just perfect, not less not more. Shaheer deserves applause.I feel so.
On the flip side, the actress Erica looks beautiful, sometimes gorgeous. But lacks depth in emoting. The dialogue delivery lacks clarity. The modulation needs to improve. Tone quality not consistent. Body language sometimes fine sometimes awkward..Erica needs to work hard in all these aspects to grow up as an actress to reckon with. After watching her cry and express her disappointment to Elena at night and her admission before Dev that Neel is not her boyfriend in both the scenes I felt the same. She needs to improve. Kuch Rang is a beautiful refreshing love story never seen before. It is highly appreciable if the performances of the lead actors match well . More than looks talent counts a lot. That is where Shaheer scores. Along with awesome looks he is a natural actor, who will elevate any scene to a higher level.
PS: This is my opinion and whoever feel Erica is a great actress on par with Shaheer,I don't have any problem with them. I hope they don't have any problem with me.

Hi
I don't think so. At points, they showed Sonakshi acting childishly though a lot of people found it cute. I didn't.
Contrarily, Dev wasn't shown like that. Not yet at least.
Otherwise Erica Fernandes is a good actress. I don't have problems with her because frankly I watch the show for Dev..lol

I think she was a bit rusty in the beginning of the show but she has improved a lot since then. I'm sure she'll get better as the show progresses. No doubt Shaheer is an absolute treat to watch onscreen and I think Erica is doing a pretty good job in complementing him 😊 Also don't feel like people will hate you for your opinion!

I beg to disagree with you on this... I find Erica flawless as an actor... She emotes beautifully through her eyes.😊

And for Sona... I don't find her childish at all... She always had a sketch of her prince charming in her mind and when she fell in love, she didn't know what to do and what not... And this is when she did what Elena asked her to do.😊

Secondly, She always behave mature infront of Ishwari, Natasha and other members of Dev's family... It is only when Dev is solely around her she loses her senses and behave weird. Which is because, she is aware that her feelings will not be reciprocated from Dev's end. And it order to not make things obvious infront of Dev, she mess up everything.

When Ishwari asks Sona about Dev-Natasha's pair. She handled it very well... Even when Natasha is around and on the double date too She was not behaving love stuck... She clicked their pic and maintained a distance from Dev when Natasha clicked their picture. When she cried and Nikki saw her she even handled that situation maturely...!!!

This is what my POV is.😊

It's OK to have a diverse opinion dear. As for me I find Erica doing good, it's her first TV serial. Everyone takes time in learning the nuances of their craft, I'm sure she will too. I love her in all her scenes mostly though. As for Shaheer he has grown by leaps and bounds now, earlier he was not this good but kuch rang... He is flawless here!!! I'm not too active on the forum as such but thus serial is damn engaging and I'm in love with everything about it.

I don't entirely agree, nor do I entirely disagree. I find Shaheer a lot more natural in a lot of the scenes but I find male actors a lot more natural in scenes anyways. Be it Barun as Arnav, KSG as Asad, Param as Randhir, Parth as Manik. They have always overshadowed the lead actress of their shows because of how well they emote through the eyes and their dialogue delivery tone. Maybe I am just partial to male actors, for reasons other the obvious 😆

I do think Erica is improving but it's more she is shown to be a little childish when portrayed her frustration to Elena during the late night chats. And well I don't really like the whole childish act in love, majority does and hence why those moments overshadow the moments that she acts really well in. For me at least.
Nah I welcome discussion! I am an opinionated person myself and I am glad you posted your opinion :D

I respect your opinion and I am sorry to disagree with your point.
For me, Erica is perfect as Sonakshi. Nobody could have played the part better. It will be unfair to compare her with Shaheer, who is a splendid actor and is very experienced in terms of all genre, as she is comparatively new to the industry. Anyways, even it is being done I feel she is doing fine. Her growth in terms of expression as been tremendous since day 1.
About the scene yesterday, the crying was intentionally made comical and the devAkshi scene also demanded a stressed Sona who has a habit of blabbering her heart out, like she does infront of Elena.
She now shares the same comfort with Dev hence the stressed fast-talking where she confessed. 😊
