So I just saw the new promo.. Okay firstly, Riya and Nikki's sing-song voices... What even 😆😆😆 The whole thing sounded like a product ad 😆 I guess they wanted to do something different. Anyway that aside.. Can we hear the drumrolls please?
Mr. Dev Oblivious Dixit is FINALLY going to realize that he is in love with Sona! Thank you Dev for managing that in this century. 😆 I liked his imagination overall.. They got some great shots of Erica/Sona. Otherwise, the whole thing was looking completely absurd to me in the SBS segment.
My favorite bit was when Dev closes his eyes again to see Sona playfully raising her eyebrows at him in question and he can't help but smile softly in response.. as if in his heart of hearts he knew she was the one for him all along. Nicely emoted by Shaheer :)
The moment is fleeting ofcourse.. like the calm before a storm... His eyes are full of questions, his mind clearly reeling at the revelation. He's getting engaged and yet his heart belongs to another woman. I see plenty of angst ahead.. Excellent 😆 Sona's been going mad for days, he can suffer a bit too
On a side note, I read the new IF article.. Something about Sona putting on a bridal dupatta and dancing to Gerua and possibly imagining Dev? 😕 Again? Please don't CVs. The first few times its charming and sweet, then it just gets repetitive. Can we please focus on showing concrete scenes and strengthening Dev and Sona's arc? I love Sona in love and I find the goofy, dreamy act very endearing but I also want to see things that add something more to their story. :) Any more elaborate dream sequences are just 🤔 I sincerely hope that the article isn't true and they are mixing up Dev's imagination sequence. I'll happily watch Dev imagine Sona instead. :)
9th June though... So far! Hope everything unfolds well and we get some great scenes leading up to the final realization!
