Dev's POV

"Don't take sleeping pills Mr DIxit!"

Suddenly her voice warned me, I smiled as once again I remembered her. It's been two weeks since she has left, but don't understand why I feel as if it has been ages since she was last seen. Something was making me feel unhappy or let's just say incomplete.

I sighed again, what I was even thinking. Shaking out the thoughts in mind I laid on my bed.

Turned right! Turned left! Upside down!

Nay! Sleep seems to be nowhere near me.

"From today I will tell you all my problems Dr.Bose"

I remembered my own words. Again she came into my mind! Again! Don't know why she keeps coming. Just then I wondered how Dr Bose was. Was she finally happy to get her job back? Was she happy to get rid of this obothro? Will she even be taking care of herself without me?

Oh come on Dev! I taunted myself, I was wondering as if I was going to be with her forever and keep taking care of her.

Forever!

I felt a weird felling of warmth in my heart! How good it would be if Dr.Bose comes every day, talks to me and takes care of my mother! I felt a feeling of contentedness.

SHUT UP, my mind warned on the stupid things I was pondering on. With that I calmly cuddled into sleep clearing the entire hurricane in my mind.

"You should try different colours Mr.Dixit! Life would also be colourful!"

Again I reminisced her words. But this time I smiled as I remembered how happy Dr.Bose looked watching me in that orange shirt. So this time I picked up the pink one.

After getting ready I headed towards the dining table.

"Good morning Nikki!"

"Morning Bhaiyya!"

I swiftly emptied the orange juice and turned to leave as I was already late for the office

"Arey Bhaiyya! Won't you eat breakfast? Dr.Bose told me that skipping breakfast might affect the entire day!"

"You wasted so much time, why don't you spare another 5 mins for the breakfast"

Again her words came into my mind, dunno when I will get rid of them. I calmly turned and started eating my breakfast.

"You know what Bhaiyya I really miss Ms Bose, she was such a lovely friend of mine!"

"Me too!"

I closed my eyes as I was shocked with what I have just blurted out. I felt as if to bang my head to nearest wall.

"What?" Nikki looked at me with astonishment all over her face.

"Nothing!" I grabbed the last bite and left ensuring not to show my own dumbfounded face.

What's wrong with you Dev! I cursed myself.

Beep! Beep!

I sounded the horn for the untempth time. God know what happened but this traffic Jam seemed not to get cleared anytime soon. I just then stopped am who seemed to be coming from the gathered crowd out there.

"Excuse me! what is the matter with the crowd gathering up there" I asked him casually.

"A doctor met with an accident while she was riding on her scooty. She has been badly injured. Poor girl!"

Girl, scooty, doctor, Dr.Bose?

No it can't be her. I felt my hands starting to sweat. What if it was her? No. No this can't happen. Nothing can happen to Sonakshi. I hurriedly got out of my car.

Scenes of Sonakshi in pool of blood flashed in front of my mind. No Nothing can happen to Sonakshi. I kept telling myself. I ran with as much speed as I could. I felt my heart beat with at most fear. Fear of losing Ms Bose.

I slowly cleared my way amongst the crowd. My mind kept hoping for the girl no to be Sonakshi. I finally got the sight of the girl who met with the accident. And it was not her!

A wave of relief passed through me. I sighed calmly as the ambulance took the girl and left. Somewhere I was happy, happy for nothing happening to Sonakshi. I calmly turned around and walked near my car. Thoughts started flying over my mind. How tensed I was when I felt the girl to be Ms.Bose.

I got into my car and started driving. What if? What if it was Dr.Bose? What if she met with an accident? What if she had died?

SCREEECHHH

I applied brakes as I couldn't even think such a wild thought. I couldn't even imagine anything happening to Dr.Bose. I sighed and slowly got out of the car.

"Tina!"I called as soon as I entered the office.

"Yes Sir?" she curtly replied.

"Ring a phone to Dr Bose and enquire about her well being" I ordered.

"May I know why Sir?"

"Just do what I said" To my surprise Tina simply smiled at me.

"Sure sir!"

After five minutes Tina returned."Dr.Bose is good and quite busy with her work. She seemed pretty happy with her job being back."

I sighed with relief knowing that she was happy and safe. My lips curved into a small smile.

"Sir are you fine?"

"Yeah Yah! You can leave Tina". With that resumed my work feeling contented.

"Tu aagaya beta" Ma smiled as she saw me entering her room.

"I am totally tired today Ma" i said as i laid my head in her lap. She calmly brushed my hair slowly. This was the best thing i love in the whole day, being in my mother's lap.

"You have any problem Beta?" Ma asked me.

"How do you know?" i asked turning my head towards her side.

"I am your Mother!" she said while tapping my head" now tell me what's your problem."

"Ma what is love" I asked timidly .I don't know why but this question has been bugging me since days well since two weeks exactly.

"Well! Love, is a feeling of being together with the one you are in love with. It is a string that ties you with your mate. It makes the person feel incomplete without their mate. Their absence makes them feel restless and life seems to be incomplete without their loved ones. Even if they are not there with you, you can still feel their presence in terms of memories." She said dreamily.

"You loved PaPa a lot right!" I said understanding her emotions. She smiled at me.

"Thanks Ma!"

Somewhere i felt as if I got answers for all my questions. Today i drifted into sleep soon with happiness in my heart.

As i drove my car smoothly I stopped as soon as I saw her! I saw Dr.Bose! I finally saw her after two whole weeks. An unknown happiness filled through my heart. She was happily talking to Elena and walking on the path.

She was smiling with utmost happiness. I felt so happy and satisfied to see her like that. At that moment I realized that I was irrevocably in love with her. Yes I was finally in love with Dr.Bose.
