This is my analysis of the DevAkshi kitchen scene:

Dev

I loved how Dev entered and asked Sona what is she doing... He didn't like her working in the kitchen... And when he was about to leave, she cuts her finger... The immediate panic on his face and voice showed how much he cares... The way he immediately held her hand and took it under tab reminded me of the scene when Ishwari burnt her hand... Dev was equally panicked at that time... This shows, he cares for Sona the same way... The way he got angry on her and reminded her that its not her job to cut the vegetables...!

He scolded her for behaving weird since so many days shows that he keenly notices her.. Though all the time she behaves weird infront of him only. But for him to mention it showed he notices it every single time and think about it too... Then when he said he do have other works and how many times will he take care of her. For me these lines were said, because he's always concerned about her well-being.. And it was like, if i am not there who'll take care. He was scolding her the way he do with his Ishwari... The special connection is already formed. He only need a trigger to realize it.

He's already over protective, concerned and worried about her. Once the realization happens don't how will he be with Sona.. All the more possessive and protective... Would love to see that side of Dev.

Sona

In the kitchen scene it was clear that Sona was restless, because Natasha came when Dev was teaching her to play video game... She was extremely uncomfortable of Natasha's presence near Dev... The way replied coldly too Dev that obviously she's cutting vegetables was so like our old Sona and looking at him panicked because of her minor injury she was lost in him... She was happy that her man was so damn concerned for her... He was scolding her like someone close...!

The only mistake he did was to say that he do have other works than taking care of her and she lost it... I loved the way She retorted that she didn't called him for help and there's no need for him to be around her all the time to take care. He should take care of his guests (This was the best thing she said, the jealous Sona... Till now, she behaved maturely infornt of Dev and Natasha, she controlled all the her emotions and was always polite and calm... But at some point of time everyone tends to lose the cool and it was Sona today. It was natural and can happen to anyone)...!

I loved how she retorted that she can take care of herself. It was lovely to see our old Bengal Tigress, Dr. Sonakshi Bose back... She was a treat to watch.

Though i felt bad for Dev. Poor guy is clueless about Sona's weird behavior... But Sona is in a terrible state at present. She cannot confess her love but daily have to see Dev-Natasha together.. Poor thing.

Very nice analysis👏 Dev was behaving like a husband when he was scolding her, that she should take of herself! It was too cute! And loved catching a glimpse of old sona again

That's awesome analysis👏👏.. the way he scolded her like he has all the rights on her.. poor guy was not able to realize..

Coming to Sona.. yaar she was not able to control her emotions.. jealous was clearly shown..

Very well said. I doubt he even realized what he said or the importance of what he said. His words showed how extremely concerned he always feels for Sona...or how much he cares for her...more than what is normal.

Its because of that care and concern only that he noticed she has not been her usual self lately.😳

Its like..."I have got so many issues hanging over my head and on top of that I am always concerned about you." In fact, I felt that more than her, he said those words to himself.

And it was those words only that made Sona lose her cool. 😆 Up till that point, she was fine...dazed even looking at his concern for her. But the moment he said those words, she got conscious. To her already emotionally frazzled mind, his words must have made her feel as if she is a burden on him (when its the complete opposite)

While I too felt very bad for poor Dev [he looked so last when she walked away in a huff😆) but I understand Sona's side too. In the Dixit house, she has always had to maintain her cool. First , being forced to work at that house since Dev left her no other choice and she needed the money. Second was Ishwari's rude behavior in the beginning...and then after Ishwari mellowed down, it was Radharani's turn. All this combined with her new found feelings for Dev mixed with jealousy at the growing closeness between Dev and Natasha ...so when Dev said those words, it wasn't surprising that she lost her calm. She is only human after all.

P.S. even though the that kitchen scene was intense , there was one part that made me laugh. The part where she stats rambling in Bengali and Dev gives a hard look and says , "Miss Bose...phir se tumi tumi??"

I dont know why but the way he said it cracked me up.😆😆😆

Yeah true.. Poor Sona, she's going through a lot these days.
