Guys...
This is so frustrating! Sona is so frustrating 😕

On one hand she is a modernized girl with ambition and drive, then we get this sour puss meanie everytime she interacts with Dev or Natasha...it's such a turn off ( and should be for Dev too!).

So finally, she had the chance to be that shoulder that Dev oh so needs in his life, she had the chance to guide him and help him in his time of need cause after all when you love someone ( truly) you want them to be happy be that with you or without. Dev calls her to confide in her and she tells him "she'll talk to him later" and ...that's it?! She didn't even drop him a text after. Or talk to him about it the next day. That is your care for the love of your life?! The same guy who you know has no one else to confide in and talk to and takes sleeping pills cause he cant sleep at night for the same reason. Like, what?! That scene rubbed me the wrong way.

Then, when Dev is showing her how to work the game controller she becomes dazed ( which is normal fine) but then Natasha comes there she starts mumbling things like a catty teenage girl, ignores Dev despite his super nice behaviour towards her ( he was talking to her, and she literally was talking to Nikki as if Dev wasn't saying anything..W*F) and then she just got up and left. Fine we get it you love the guy but why are you forgetting common manners and respect?! Even when she was going home earlier in the episode she was literally walking past Dev and Natasha without acknowleding them and when Dev called out to her she was just like "Oh. Didn't see you there" and just stood there like an emotionless moron until Natasha finally spoke up and said Hi, and she was like "Hey" like it physically hurt her to speak 😆 No emotion. No smile. No blinking. So brutal 😆 Makes me question if the character is written this way or it's just a case of bad one-emotion ( John Abraham style) acting.

Finally, when she cuts her finger and Dev is SUPER concerned and taking care of her she gets mad and bitchy towards him and tells him to take care of his guests..like what?!? What exactly is the stem of her resentment and bitterness? She loves Dev and he doesn't love her back? So?! On a human level she should still be cordial and respectful and appreciative of him as a friend, and as her boss.

Her recent behaviour is so unpleasant to watch - and her antics are the complete opposite of what her character is supposed to be: head-strong, educated, well mannered and composed. If as a grown and respectable women this is how she deals with rejection ( which you can't even call it..because she HASNT told Dev her feelings) then it's a shame.

Also, can she stop acting so dull and lifeless every time she's around Dev and Natasha? She has literally known the man for a month and is acting as if she has lost the will to live because he MIGHT be getting married to someone else. You had a life before him and you'll have one after him, be happy for him and be nice to him if you really love him as much as you claim to.

Sorry if I am being harsh, but I really don't like the way poor Dev was treated by her today, and honestly from his perspective with the way Sona is acting why wouldn't she chose Natasha over her?!
These are just my thoughts after watching tonights episode.

Sorry dear but do not agree with all the views.
Phone convo scene, yes I agree, it is a very important decision for him and he wanted to share his dilemma about the marriage proposal. But this topic is so hard for her to discuss. She picked his call even when she was so sad, but he wants to discuss the proposal. How can she advise him about his marriage, when she is so madly in love with him and it hurts her to see him with Nat.

Video game scene - She didn't just leave without giving any explanation. She told them she had work to finish. Its difficult for her to hide her feelings, so she feels its better to avoid interactions. When Dev was helping her with the game, she just loved it. She already knows there is no future for her love story, but when he shows his care, she becomes vulnerable again. When Nat came, she just snapped out of her dreams.

An finally in Kitchen scene - though Dev was showing his concern, the way he said angrily about her being childish, that he has to leave his work n take care of her. She was not being bitchy , she had to clarify her stand that she was not doing all this on purpose and she never asked for his help. If Dev would have spoken with her calmly rather than being angry, she would not responded so bluntly.
But actually I liked the heated conversation...like they are back with their old fights and arguments.😳😆

Dev has always been so inconsistent with his behavior. He would get angry when she advised on his family matters before, but he has no issues while interfering in her personal life (firing her from job, Kushal roy, jodi.com). He shouts at her first and then realizes it was wrong (nikki's nightout, breaking her phone). When he needs advise, she is like a friend, but when Mami insults her, he doesn't stop Mami ( like calling her servant, taunting her Bengalan, the earrings scene). One moment he is disturbed by the marriage proposal, and the very next he is happily chatting with Natasha.

And similarly Sona also shows inconsistent behavior. Its only human to react as per the situation and as per the people involved, no one can be perfectly consistent in all situations

Just my PoV dear...afraid its too long 😉

I completely disagree with what you have stated. It was a very realistic approach by the CVS in showing what sona was going through unlike in other shows we see fl goes on sacrificing her love with a smile on her face Is that even possible for someone who's truly in love to be all okay at that moment of time and even if she has decided to move on it would take sometime for her to accept the reality and get back to her old self.
EDITED
As you said about sona's charatstics that she is composed well mannnared etc I would say humans do not have constant characteristics their entire life they tend to change according to the situation and may get back to what they were when they feel it's the right time to do so same here is the situation with sona maybe she is behaving in such a way as it's a defence mechanism for her to stop hurting herself.I hope I made my points clear :-)

i didnt like the fact Sona kept the call that way, but then see from her point... she is totally crushed as she really fell for him so much..and is not able to talk about him and Natasha...her good nature does not allow to speak bad about natasha.. and her self respect does not let her confess her feelings either...

i disagree here.. i hated the way Dev spoke to her.. i have other work also than taking care of u...
excuse me... she is childish and immature fine..so be like a boss..and do his job rt.. why is he getting concern n insulting her at the same time...
u wud feel the same..and talk to him the same way.. Sona did..

Her recent behaviour is so unpleasant to watch - and her antics are the complete opposite of what her character is supposed to be: head-strong, educated, well mannered and composed. If as a grown and respectable women this is how she deals with rejection ( which you can't even call it..because she HASNT told Dev her feelings) then it's a shame. everyone has a soft side in them...she is trying to move on... thanks to elena... and her dream of a love story makes it difficult...

sad fact of life.. wen we become hopeless.. then that's how we end up being...the person who said keep hope is not understanding her.. except that she is behaving weird.. and she is not able to open up too.. as she fear

Actually we r so use to see "adarsh" behaviour of protagnist..so much so that othr drama leads nevr gave us any opportunity to question about their actions..they have ideal pleasing explanations if they do against audience views...Here we can see dev and sona are so not adarsh at all & very contrasting to their own nature sometimes due to situations in which they r...But beauty of serial is they are not apologetic or they dint try to justify it as a majboori for others or themselves..They hve shown it more as a 'being human' who behave practically in nature...
Dev never say anyything to mami ...though i feel more than dev its sona's responsibility to stand for herself..For dev sona is still an outsider he has def..warned mami twice..& practically they have shown tht they all knw how is she Even dev has indirectly confessed to sona abt mami that they r family he cant do much abt it as its just not individually abt mami ...but she is his mamas wife & mama is still theirs...Relationships are so very complicated dear its not right or wrong its abt how that relationship is dealt with in particular circumstances...One person will always get hurt in any relationship they jus need to see who is insider and who is outsider...BEST EG:MOVIE DRISHYAM..family is always family first then they r right or wrong...

Sona has understood this bcoz of dev...I think they all jus ignoring mami and not taking her seriously Jus like how we do in real life aap 1 bar 2 bar samjhoge phir agar woh na samjhe toh aap phir unke mooh nahi lagte ignore karte ho...which is best way to punish when u confront thm..u r gvng them importance...Mami'words are not much weighed in house now
Again eg:mami tried to brainwash ishwari so much but if u see ishwari and dev's convo...nowhere u cld feel ishwari was influenced by mami..she told dev wht she felt was right ultimately...Relationship r delicate not always confrontation is the solution but how much u can ignore the wrong part is the way to it practicallt..Ofcourse once such people crosses limits they will be punishd but they r too testing mami as in how long she can be so "tedhi"?My pov
