Am I the only one here who thinks Natasha is good, NOT FOR DEV, but in general. I think she is a sweet girl who is nice to everyone.

I would never want VikSha pairing...I mean Vikky is a cheap and bad guy. No one deserves to marry him. Natasha has not done anything wrong.

She doesn't know anything about Dev-Sona.

She may be hitting on Dev but what's wrong with that. She likes him just the way Sona does. She thinks they'll make a good pair. She hasn't linked the relation to the business deal (may be Gujral has, but not Natasha).

I just don't get the reason for the negativity...

Neither her father nor she are doing anything wrong.
Even if she's being extra nice and sweet, it doesn't matter because only idiots would not see that she is trying to make a good impression for a potential alliance. So it's on them to ask for some courting period or so before agreeing to fix the match.

And I would hope the show doesn't go the same old way Indian shows and even fandoms love for it to go--with Natasha and her father being 'evil' or having some shady plan behind it all.

Whereas in actuality, they were clear and obvious from the start in their 'plan.'

True...she doesnt me irritate me like Radha Rani does...even if she has her eyes on Dev for marriage, then nothing wrong with it. Dev isnt committed to anyone right now so why shouldnt she approach him?
In fact, like someone posted above, both Natasha and her father seemed quite clear about their 'plan' in yesterday's episode...but I still dont find anything wrong since such proposals do happen.

Of course, we still dont know much about her or how she really is...

Reason for not liking this character ( I don't like to use hate word - it's too strong for me ) - because of her over sugar coated talks . Plus her extra efforts to look good in terms of Sanskari.
Plus she entry with " I am interested in DEV and want to marry him "

Being successful woman means she needs to be smart , cunning , manipulative- nothing wrong in that it's basic requirement to be successful atleast in business . Business without selfishness without possible . So I would have accepted her if she showed these traits atleast during business talks . But rather even during business talks she was more interested in highlighting her as normal abla sabla nari interested in marriage ( marriage is not bad - respect it - just want to show her usual talks with stranger deV where she was meeting only second time in her life )

It's more like marriage proposal more than business proposal. Nothing bad in that but approach is bad . Not signing a deal without offering a marriage proposal - for me ( pov) it's black mail .
I don't think GUjral will give them a option - with or withnot marriage but will go ahead with our business plan . So ppl are questioning their intention ?

Well, they r here for Dev. I don't think this deal matters to them as much as it matters to Dev.

Also, the way everyone talks about Dev, he must be the most eligible bachelor in the business world. The Gujrals probably already knew a lot about him.

The thing I like about them is that they are open about their intentions. Everyone tries to be xtra sweet before marriage 😛 . Nothing wrong with that as well.

Sona never came in with that intension

in my opinion i didnt like it when she said that she wants a chota sa ghar etc. bcos no businesswoman would want a chota sa ghar. yes they might want a happy family but not
chota sa ghar.

The main problem with the actress who is playing the character. She herself looks very fake (both onscreen and off screen interviews).
And ofcourse the chacter itself not that practical.

Its more about how Nat's character is being sketched and portrayed.
We can understand she is extremely nice and want simple things in life. But if you show her as top 10 business woman in India, pls make her say something smart and intelligent and atleast some business talk.

All she does is talk abt personal life, her hobbies, how badly she wants to go to sasural and how common Indian girl only dreams about marriage and kids. When she first met Riya, Nikki she said - 'Dev tum dono par jaan chidakte hain'. how does she even know that.

Her talks and expressions looks overly sweet and fake.

And that Vicksha thing is jusk a joke, offcourse everyone unanimously hates Vicki and his mom.
