Thanks for the LU! Where are Anna, Lasya, Ser, Tannu, koi nahi? Anyhow..
Today, I LOVED the episode! My thoughts on it -
Love doctor Elena, I don't like her.😵
Her scenes with Sonakshi are being repetitive and annoying. There is no touch of reality there. Fairyland, which doesn't sync with the rest of the show.
But, screw that.😆
Dixit House.
I LOVED Ishwari today.
She had the right mix of reserve, caution, courtesy, firmness, suspicion, her discomfort was barely visible. In fact, it was not discomfort at all. It was the sheer unexpectedness of such a momentous proposal or decision that put her on her guard.
But, she was not rude at all.
She ALSO HANDLED Radha Rani very effectively. She told her clearly, but gently that she had asked for time.
I appreciate the fact that, these days, Ishwari is handling RR better, than those times, when RR overdid it. With that stealing money, and what not.
And, RR also understood when NOT to mess with her sister in law.
And, she immediately asked Dev whether it was for the marriage that Gujral had signed the deal.
This was such a normal and natural question and so perceptively she asked that, that I was amazed with the CVs of this show who conceptualised it.
I have watched SO many shows, and have rarely seen such display of maturity and NORMAL behaviour that we see in real life.
If my Mom had been there, she would have done exactly that. But, how many Reel Moms are shown to ask that?
And, Dev, too, never said the cliched stuff like I haven't seen Natasha in that manner blabla. You get the gist.
But, he said, I wasn't even hinted.
For him, it wasn't a question of who the girl was. It was the problem that mattered. The SITUATION.
And, he dealt with it immediately.
Teena came after so long! I missed her.😛
And, finally we saw, Neha too. Good. I like her. And, what she said today makes so much sense! Every telly heroine is some Sati Savitri, saying, I will marry for compromise for my family, blabla. And, this one, said, I will not do it.
It is not because she does not love her family. But, because she is not the sacrificial goat.
Honestly, nobody really marries a man they hate for their family. Sirf serials mein hota hai. Aur, iss serial mein na dikha kar they have impressed me like hell.👏
Then, comes the dream sequence.
NOW, THIS IS IMPORTANT.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN A DREAM BEING SHOWN AS A DREAM FROM THE BEGINNING.👏In such a context that is.
A BIG THUMBS UP.👍🏼
Every other show, show a dream sequence as if it is a touch of reality, we audiences, know the truth, but CVs think we are stupid, just because hamare baal safed nahi hue hain dhoop mein.😆
But, yahan par, they showed it is a dream. This may seem very small, and infinitesimal in comparison to the romantic sequence, but, it was a big deal for me, when I am looking or searching for a touch of reality in these reel shows.
And, romantic sequence ka kya bataon.
I thought it will be OTT with some 'Baahon ke Darmiyan' type of song.
Thank God. They used their KRPKAB BG only. That's what I LOVED about the sequence. ❤️
The hand holding scenes were so amazing!
And, when Dev said, all that about bahana, I was just like Awww.
But, no more on that. Because, a lot of you will analyse it much better than I can. And, there is no need to shred that beautiful romance to pieces with my unemotional logic.😆
One thing - Dream mein Elena and Sonakshi switched places on the bed from right side to left side.😆
Another - I am awestruck and appalled with the CVs. On one hand, they are so amazing, and on the other so stupid with Elena's feigned characterisation. WHY?😕
Apni fitrat dikhana zaroori hai kya CVs ko?
And, another, the Dev-Ishwari-RR scene was good too, though I didn't like RR interfering like that, Dev and Ishwari did not pay much heed, shows, they were wary of the whole thing.
And, I liked, how Dev spoke the truth about the lock. I appreciate it, I really do.
If, I were in his place, I would not lie, because I wouldn't find the need to. And, that's exactly, why I liked it.
It may have been a dampener for some, but, I loved it.
Overall, all these episodes, where they show some reality I love.
And, forgot to mention the video game scene. It was clearly an unwanted one just to drive everyone away. I didn't think much of it. Jahan Nag hai, wahan I don't bother.😆
