God I am loving this show episode by episode! 👍🏼 It's so simple and fresh! Erica Fernandes is evolving day by day and the relationship between Dev and Sona continues to grow, even though Dev is taking his sweet time to realise he has feelings for Sona. I mean, you don't just leave your office to visit someone you've hired to see if they are ok, knowing you have business guests waiting, right? You don't so easily listen to someone who is merely an employee right?
Yesterday's episode was so lovely! It was Dev and Sona's conversation at the Bose abode that as usual, was a delight to watch. There's something so natural about Dev and Sona that I enjoy seeing. Their interactions are full of nokh jhok, care and respect. You can also see underneath it all that there's this chemistry that underlies the taane that Sona gives and the replies Dev has for them. When they're together, they laugh. Isn't that what love is all about? It's also been a while since both of them sat down together since the accident. Sona's realisation and then backing off as well as Dev's work has gotten in the way of their interactions. It's like they had been missing each other.
When Sona finds Dev at her door again, the first thing that comes out of her mouth is 'But why?'😆 Loved that! The more she tries to run away from him, the more he keeps on bumping into her. Then Dev asks 'why not?' 😆 I wish he started asking himself 'why am I here for this girl whose only job is to advise on the diet of my mother? I have a business deal to seal!' 😆 Think it's high time! I also really like how important Sona's house and the door has become in this flourishing love story. Dev and Sona's sweet and sour moments have always happened at her door. This time we find Dev at her darbar enquiring about her health. Dev was like, 'why don't you just bring me a chair, I'll sit outside, you're not going to ask me to come in!' 😆 Only Sona can push his buttons and bring out his sarcastic side!
And so as the dark circles comment concluded, it was interesting to note how Sona said that they way they are arguing right now, is how her mum and dad argue - a bickering couple. I think as viewers, we all want Dev to realise his feelings, but at the same time, as a girl in love, I would have kind of expected for Sona to try and suss out whether Dev might possibly feel for her too. Her words on both Dev and her arguing like her parents should have got her alarm bells ringing.
Finally, great camera work as Dev and Sona prepare to say goodbye to each other at the door. The angle going from Dev and Sona as both spoke was lovely. I especially liked the way their interaction ended because it conveyed two people showering praise and showing care and understanding through the simplest words. Erica is a joy to watch as Sona when she lowers her eyes and looks to speak up to Dev. She tries to not give away that she is in love and at the same time, shows that she cares for him when said that you don't look after yourself. Such a fine balance to strike of showing adoration and care, but then backing off again 👏
Two words on the wrist hold - haq se. Just like Sona held his wrist, so he held hers. Even though I am enjoying this slow build up, the wait is a killer! Great show so far!
