ISHWARI... What can one say about her?😉
Well jokes apart, i think that Ishwari on the surface is polite and friendly. But deep down she is cold and shrewd. I think her circumstances have toughened her. She is also very controlling of the happenings around her. She allows the lightheartedness stay. But she doesn't let things get out of her hold. As for Dev, he is blind as far as his mother is concerned. He hero worships her. Nothing is going to change that. Ishwari knows everything that happens in Dev's life. But she is unaware of his emotions.
This is where Sonakshi enters. She is going to tap into that zone. This is going to rub Ishwari the wrong way. And one may not notice but Ishwari can be emotionally vindictive. What Dev and Sonakshi might share in future will be sacred and instrumental in Dev's emotional journey. But Ishwari is the biggest roadblock in that journey.
Having said this, Ishwari is not bad. She has been unable to let go of the past and the difficulties she has faced. Moreover, people like Khosla are gentle reminders of the bad things of her life. Also, Ishwari hasn't let go, on her own accord. Unless she wills the healing and letting go of the past, no one can change the way she thinks.
So, here are my two pence.!
