Hi guys,
So I decided to try my first video on these two.
Here's a short description of the same if you'd like to read it :)
Dev and Sonakshi. Their first few meetings result in each developing a strong dislike for the other. To add to the damage, Dev gets her fired from her job in order to get her to work for him instead and take care of the one person who means the world to him - his Mother. The incident naturally causes Sona to resent him immensely. She is a proud, independent girl and sees nothing but an arrogant, egoistic man who is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants. Eventually however, she does give in, partially out of lack of choice and also because of her brother helping her understand Dev's true intentions.
This video is mainly centralized around their dance from the 6th april Episode. What a gem of a scene! Inspite of their various disagreements there has always been certain kind of friction and chemistry between these two characters. Their misunderstandings are frequent, their outlook towards life dissimilar (on the face of it mostly), he gets on her nerves and interferes in her life, she is one of the few people who can really give him a piece of her mind and is fearless around him; by all means and purposes they probably feel better off without each other and yet.. there is a connect. It is that very connect that came into full focus when Dev, quite uncharacteristically, pulls Sona in for a dance.
The scene is important and iconic to their journey because it is perhaps the first time that Sona feels something for him. Something that she can't instantly brush aside or forget about. As she falls into his arms and looks into the face of this impossible, infuriating man, something shifts within her and for those few brief moments her heart seems to stop. He is arrogant and rude and yet there have been moments where he has surprised her with his caring and considerate nature. I loved how throughout this dance her eyes were either full of questions or carried a quiet kind of awareness of the clear attraction between them. Erica has done a wonderful job!
And Dev Dixit. My God! The way he just won't let her go and the open flirting... Shaheer was amazing. For the most part this scene really cemented their chemistry and connect for me. Most importantly, it is from here that Sonakshi truly starts to fall for Dev and that is what this video is about.
